Doral Club Apartments, San Antonio TX

The thieves has been disturbing in this apartment and management do nothing on it, about four times in the second gate area of apartment,

They look decent
But I'm not sure i would ever live there.
I have been pretty blessed with what i got. I hope my son feels the same after living in such a scary area. Think he's starting to come around. Im wishing he would come back home to our small podunk town in Colorado. Thankful for what i have!

They have mold alot roaches some ice machines do not work in the apartments mine for example alot of stuff is broken the management is poor an the violence is high im happy I moved

The apartment itself it's a bit good but the main issue is you having your mails and packages stolen and they will act like they don't care or like nothing could be done at all to prevent such occurrence

I just moved here in October 2021, now that time as passed i feel like ive lived here for a good amount of time to leave a review.i have not had any problems here, if something has be fixed it is indeed quick with putting a work order.as for bugs and small animals.i have not had problems with bed bugs or roaches but also keep in mind i used my own pesticide inside and outside before i moved in also covered any cracks or openings i saw in between the cabinets and walls, base board cracks, behind stove, like everything so bugs and small animals had NO WAY of coming in.these are somewhat older apartments so they WILL come with some cracks in those areas i mentions above.quiet place as well, rent is very fair and affordable.some downsides:
the layout of my apartment is kind of weird but it works, circulation of the place is not too good.dust will happen almost everyday if not cleaned at least once a week to keep up with it.so if you can afford it get a air purifier.side notes: the gate is not always gated, it gets fixed and breaks but have had no problem with my car being out there just make sure its locked and dont have anything valuable inside.

FOR PEOPLE NOT KNOWING THE AREA:

As for someone who has known San Antonio all my life, Culebra rd isnt the best area or worst area either.there have been PLENTY of car accidents that happen solely on this rd, people have passed unfortunately on this rd for various of reasons but this is not the apartments fault, you just have to be cautious of your surrounding when driving.other than that this is solely my experience here and so far so good! Hope this helps!

My floor is lifting due to plumbing issues been here for almost 2 yrs and still have yet to fix the issue.but so quick to take my money.don't move here they suck also have mold on my ceiling all they did was paint over it

Amazing apartments for an affordable price. Front office always takes the time to explain any of their policies and maintenance is fast!

I’ve lived here for 3 years, love the staff, the maintenance crew is the absolute best, and they do a good job with the up keep. Last but least, love the location everything you ever need is always close by.

I’m am so disgusted! I went to tour this apartment (one available now) that had carpet. I literally walked out seeing 5 fleas total on me. I have seen ZERO prior to the visit. On top of this the leasing agent barely gave me information about the area and about the apartment. The lights weren’t even turning on for the apartment that was available now. Patch work looked bad too.
Will not rent here.

I have a friend that lives here came to visit. I didn't get to see the whole place as it was late in the evening so that's why the 3 stars. I was told there is a pool? I never saw it? However I found out by other means that someone was bbqing under a balcony and it caught fire (I thought there was a law about that, as this had happened some 15 years ago and it set an apartment on fire) and that same evening there were gun shots around the complex not sure where either in or out of the fenced complex? Now I'm worried about my 4 friends that live there, I don't know if they have 24/7 security and if the management knows anything about that? I can see that it is difficult to manage grown adults, right and those people (live here) should have respect for themselves and for there neighbors, it helps that way everyone lives in peace! I should say there is a bus stop next to these apartments, my friends do like living there and for them is convenient to friends, stores, the mall, and other small stores and bakeries. It looks clean except for that large couch at the dumpster?

I honestly regret not renewing my lease! The staff and maintenance is amazing and the grounds are always nicely kept and the pool is beautiful! The neighbors were kind of terrible at first but it got better towards the end of our lease. Very quiet other than the few disturbances from neighbors but that’s nothing the complex can control fully. Overall a very nice place

I love these apartments! The staff is amazing and the apartments are well kept. They are the best apartments in the area for quality, size, and price. If you find one available, least it, because they are always full.

The back gate is padlocked indefinitely due to security concerns apparently. This removes another way in/out of the complex and the option of bypassing Culebra traffic, which sucks.

These apartments I want to go visit are like total trash now from like a couple years ago I think they needed and change New Management

Reported to their corporate office worst apartments to live in maintenance orders don’t get completed office managers are racist, apartment came with issues still haven’t fixed broken cupboard since move in took pictures of everything save your money and move into a nicer place

Love living here. The only down fall is parking and sometimes the water would be cold and hot off and on kinda odd but other than that. It a wonderful place to live.

I’ve been here for a few years and I love it! The customer service is amazing and they always take care of any maintenance right away! Thank you folks for your hard work! Happy holidays!
