Dos Olivos Market reviews
16The food was delicious, and I loved the little market. Highly recommend the branzino. GF options are available.
The service here is excellent every time we go and the food never disappoints either. Will definitely go again.
Atmosphere is nice, but everything else was lackluster.there were ingredients missing in our food, so the chef had to send those out when we realized we were missing porkbelly from the dishes.the service was very odd and our entrées didn't come out all at once.the chicken and also the grits cake in the "shrimp n grits" were both burnt.lots of potential but food needs to be refined, as well as the service.
This is one of my go-to places for food and drinks. The food and drinks are obviously amazing, but it’s the people that make this place so wonderful. They are so sweet and easy to talk to. They are knowledgeable and always on top of things. I have a great experience here every time I visit.
The steak is absolute perfection! Mac and cheese was good but kind of cold. Seems like it was ready before the steak or something. Their bread pudding though.was on point!
I love Dos Olivos! It's great for date night, catching up with friends, or just swinging by for apps and a drink. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. The pan tomate is amazing, and the pimento cheese tater tots on the brunch menu are absolutely delicious! I've eaten here several times and have been happy with every meal! These pictures are from a few different times that I've eaten there. The quality is always consistent. I love having this restaurant in our sweet little town!
Jason was very personable and knowledgeable on the wines we tasted. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the ambiance. Wine Wednesday, we will definitely be back!
Hidden gem with great food and service. Great wine selection! Would highly recommend for date night or family. Order lots and share, you will like it all!
We've been coming here for a while but the quality has gone downhill. The drinks are still good but the food quality isn't nearly as good as it once was. We came for Sunday brunch and we were disappointed by how cold and hard our meal was as if it had been sitting for a while. It even took a long time between ordering and being served our meal. It's sad because I used to love this place. It was also not busy when we went so I can't even say they were understaffed. It just isn't worth the price anymore.
Edit: After being instructed by management to reach out for a refund, I did. We never received a response or a refund, and that's further disappointing.
Great little market area for the most freshest ingredients. Definitely stop by if you need the good chocolate or even some nice preserves. Great wine selection and amazing atmosphere.
TLDR: get the barbacoa donuts, share everything
When I first looked at the menu I was unsure what to get and if I should stay but I’m glad I did. The menu is a bit confusing with some family style options and some not but I recommend sharing all the dishes! The dishes each are unique with powerful flavors so again I think they should all be family style. We weren’t planning on sharing but so glad we did.
One star knocked for the menu being confusing and schnitzel being dry and then one star knocked for getting a warm bottle of white wine and all the dishes coming out at very different times.
The barbacoa donuts were amazing. We almost didn’t order them because with the word donut I thought they would be sweet but they weren’t. I can’t image only eating this though it was definitely better shared.
The pork schnitzel was a lot of food but pretty dry. It was better with a lot of mustard but I wouldn’t recommend it.
The chicken karaage was different and delicious but a large amount of fried chicken and a powerful favor, so again couldn’t image just having that.
Lastly, the seasonal squash gnocchi with unique and really delicious. It did take a long time to cook.
We had a work event here and the food and service was so good! The chef even came out and talked to us! His name was Patrick and he was so nice.
Loving this place, food is cooked well and menu is unique. Market is neat with well priced items from Spain and atmosphere was vibing. Will be back.
This is a nice place. It's casual but upscale in terms of the food quality and atmosphere. There's no loud blaring music, and it wasn't crowded when we went (weeknight visit).
The food came out quickly. The burger was fantastic as was the shrimp salad. The beignet dessert was amazing as well. Friendly, helpful service made for a very nice evening.
I am so very excited to find this great little gem in Dripping Springs. We have barely had any gourmet or interesting food here for decades and then Dos Olivos appears. They have great service and a very interesting menu and a nice atmosphere. I can not wait to try more dishes! And go there many many more times! I highly recommend. Support local and give this place a try!
Stopped here randomly with friends, turned out to be a fantastic decision! Food here is incredible, top tier menu and ingredients.
