DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dallas - Richardson

We have always stayed here with our semi truck and trailer and never had a problem. Turns out now the charge for parking so since we have the 18 wheeler they want to charge $80 a night. When we spoke to manager he indicated that other 18 wheelers where parking and not staying. We understand however you know we are staying and not abusing the parking makes no sense to charge the customer. Guess this wont be an option

Hotel and my room was nice. The bathroom toilet was running all night. I didn’t report it. Just closed the door. There was a charge made to my room that was unauthorized. Management was made aware. I’m still waiting to hear back.

Not the same Doubletree they used to be. No warm chocolate chip cookies they continue to boast about on their site, instead some lame "nothing allergy content" prepackaged "cookies ".
We got awakened by a drum-line in the atrium at 8: 30 am on a Saturday morning. Who does that?
Also, just outside the entrance needs a serious pressure washing.
Come on Doubletree, get your stuff back together.

We were in for a tournament- they were not prepared and were rude. Everyone only got 2 towels no matter how many in your party. They avoided you when you asked for more, and wouldn’t pick up your call to the desk, and housekeeping would walk away and not respond. They took on a full booking and only have one washer / dryer. The breakfast was undercooked and burnt tasting with pancakes that were very bland and rubbery. It was not worth the price to pay to eat. We ate breakfast at first watch across the street instead. They will not answer the phones. They worst part was having a sewage type smell coming from the vents and drains. I thought we were the only ones that experienced this. I was wrong. Other parents had the same complaint as well. Management refused to call me back after my stay. I had to go through Hilton customer service for resolution. There was a very friendly night service lady who was kind but seemed her hands were tied. The bar lady Julie was sweet too. Otherwise. I wouldn’t stay again - they have some serious issues to repair first.

You had one job, wake me up at 4am for an important meeting.ugh But the wake up at 7am from the housekeepers laughing and talking was an extra treat. Lol

Food, shopping (souvenirs), and daily necessities are available on route 75, so it was a very convenient place.
I was happy that the staff responded brightly and politely.
Every day at the end of work, I enjoyed getting a big cookie at the front desk.

Not a fan of this property. I sprained my ankle when I stepped out of my car due to an uneven crack in the asphalt in my parking space. Woman staff was unfriendly when asking for a late check out as a Hilton gold member. Hilton Richardson is a vastly superior property for not much more money. Never staying here again.

The front desk service is not really friendly. And the breakfast really awful. About the environment, just a normal Double Tree, not very clean but still acceptable.

Wow! Sorry I tried to call thecroom of my diabetic mother in an emergency little bit after 12: 00 at night and they refuse to let me talk to her even though I expressed it was an emergency to the Lady it's a friend treating such disrespect I will never rent with DoubleTree they must teach their employees y or q

Checked in and watched the front desk clerk give and continue to give all guests 2 bottled waters, but when I asked said only available for sale. I even sat in the lobby just to watch other guests check in. Seems odd, don't you think.

Manager was ABSOLUTELY RUDE since answering the phone call. I DO NOT recommend staying here as they do not care for their guests but they sure do, make sure they charge every possible penny. I have booked with many hotels and have NEVER had an experience like this with any employee let alone WITH A MANAGER!

Hotel was nice, except the air conditioning seemed not to work very well in our room. I called down to the front desk but no one answered, so we just went to sleep. But, other than not being able to really get cozy while sleeping every thing else was good.

This is by the best place to stay in this area. And I've stayed at all the hotel around this area. Doubletree is better than 3 star hotel. The rooms are very comfortable. The bar is very nice and the chef cooks some amazing food. Lobby has been updated as well as the room. If they would give you more than 2 towels and no hand towels it would he much better. I this is my 3rd time staying here amd I'll keep coming back. Biggest draw back is there are drawers in the nightstands, the shower surround is cheaply done. Nice big 50" plus TV with movie channels but the remotes have major problems. I would suggest downloading the ap to operate the television

SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF! The manager and everything was a mess, the blonde hair girl, the manager with the brown hair, the black dude, and arab dude made it super uncomfortable for me and thanks to them i wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel and i will never in my life stay here again

Management is very unprofessional. Notified front desk that my truck was parked on the property when I checked in. They had it towed without contacting me first.

Restrooms in hotel need CRL badly. Our shower head and sink faucet had green calcium build up. I used NY bottled water to brush my teeth.yes it was bad and it looked gross coming out of the faucets and shower head.

It’s not bad but it too old, low maintenance & totally different with advertising photo.
But it’s acceptable for 3 starts hotel.
Front desk was nice.
