DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport

I was volunteering at a conference over the weekend. Our room was clean upon arrival. The hotel let us check in early. The accommodations were EXCELLENT. The food on Saturday night at the banquet was FABULOUS. The only thing I miss is the daily cleaning. With COVID on the rise, lots of hotels are foregoing this amenity. LOVELY hotel, AMAZING staff!

Customer service sucks! I was being waited on by an associate. An airline crew approached the desk requesting their keys and the associate stopped helping me and took care of the whole flight crew who skipped 17 other people waiting in line. FINALLY she attended me after the flight crew was satisfied. Meanwhile the other associate managed to help 12 other guest get their rooms while I waited for Leah to return to me. Absolutely disrespectful to myself and the other guest whom waited their turn in line.

The customer service is absolutely awful they will not bother to make an effort to assist you with a ride. When you are in a pinch to get to the airport. Because they have set 30 min intervals to get you to and from the airport even though they have a driver that is not doing anything and is on location. Irene is the manager on property at the time and she was absolutely rude and useless.

Very accommodating. Room A/C quit working and was quickly upgraded and moved. Rooms are very nice and comfy!

The employees were great! Treated us very well. Restaurant employees were proactive. Met our needs without asking.
Public restrooms needed grab bars in all their large stalls.
Due to rapid spread of Delta Variant, more employees should have been wearing masks in accordance with written information on Hotel Website.

TV didn't work. No creamer for my coffee (or stir stik). Called down for creamer, never received it. I was there for literally just a few hours between flights, only wanted three things.tv to watch for 10 minutes, a few hours sleep, and coffee when i woke up. Only got sleep.
As I left I told the front desk I rarely complain, but was very unhappy with my few hours for a couple hundred dollars. Her response? "Oh, I realized I sent the creamer to another room, I can give you some now. " What? I'm leaving, how is creamer now even a possible solution? Do I swallow it and hope it mixes with the bit of black coffee I drank? !?

DoubleTree always makes me feel like a King, from check-in, cookies, bar, and dinner, all very well done.

Friendly employees. Rooms could be more clean. Strong spray smell in the hallways. Pool wasn't very clean, lacked of chlorine. No hot water when I showered at noon.

Overpriced for an 80's style hotel. This hotel is old, plain and simple. There was literally puddles of condensation water on the carpets. Many. I stayed because it cost more, thought it would be better than the Sheraton across the street. I was wrong.so outdated.

I appreciate the efforts the hotel made during this time. It wasn't a perfect stay, but the effort is why I will give 3 stars.
However, I didn't appreciate the security guard following me each time I went to my car.

This hotel will double bill you and then lie about it.they make up charges and don't even get your signature then try and argue that you made charges when you didn't complete fraud and lies and dishonest.do not stay here you will get over billed more than once

This was my first time at this location. Staff was wonderful. I would recommend this location to my business partners.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a stay. This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be disappointed.

Great place ro stay near the Airport, with free shuttle. The staff here were absolutely amazing, very friendly and helpful with just about everything.

I didn't stay here but delivered food here a few times and every time i have been there they are very friendly and its so clean

Hotel staff is great.
The hotel itself however is in need of updates and repairs. Room safe didn't work in 2 rooms. Stains all over the hall carpets. The top floor has water damage and smells like mildew.
