Dove Ridge Winery, Weatherford TX

This place is about $50 per bottle and the choices of wines aren't the greatest. If you want something fancy and with not that many food options this is the place for you.

Arrived late Sunday afternoon to do a bit of tasting. Our hostess explained the history of the winery and reviewed each sample, each of which was delicious and unique. I rarely buy wines but came home with two bottles of Malbec which were exceptional to our group. We were invited to drive up to the Dove Ridge wedding venue which is high atop a large mountain. We were able o look east toward downtown Fort Worth which was a breathtaking view. I am joining their wine club!

I had an amazing first experience today! I signed up for the quarterly wine club so I went in to pick up my 4 bottles of wine. Driving up to the tasting room offered a beautiful view of the property and vineyard. I decided to sit and enjoy a tasting of a few of their wines. I was welcomed by 2 staff members and had a seat at the bar. I had small samples of 6 wines and ended up buying an extra bottle that I knew my husband would enjoy.
I'll absolutely continue my wine club subscription and can't wait to have a nice date with my husband soon at the tasting room!

Very friendly service, great options for wine. Really enjoyed the whites, and a couple of the red offerings. Did not eat here but it would be a great place to have a snack or lunch while sampling some of the flights

OMG, what a great winery! The service is amazing, we didn't try the food but it looked and smelled yummy. We really liked the dry reds, all of them.

We had a great Saturday afternoon up at Dove Ridge! Good wine, charcuterie board and the owners are fantastic. Would recommend a trip out to visit as it's pretty close to Fort Worth. Don't forget to check out the view from the venue.

It's a relaxing enjoyable environment. This was our 3rd quarterly visit to pick up our wine club fulfillment. The owners and employees take time to talk with people and get to know them. We noticed this on our 1st visit and we were recognized and remembered the next 2 times. We've only been to the winery tasting room. We haven't driven around and looked at their venue.

Best winery in DFW! Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, great views & friendly staff. Absolutely love this place every time I get a chance to go. Highly recommend. Definately a hidden gem out in the country.

We come here almost every weekend and it is always a wonderful experience. The staff is very attentive, their home grown wines exquisite, and cheese trays delicious and generous.

Joe and his wife opened about 18 months ago. They are super friendly anthey have 2 award winning wines that I highly recommend. Very nice tasting area, beautiful event venue and an all around great place to spend an afternoon. Will come back soon to try their new Montelpuciano, Riesling, and Petit Sirah coming out. Great wine, along with cheese and bread trays! The Ucelli and the Tempranillo bottles, da best. Nice employees and views inside n outdoors. Going back for sure to c da bands play n they having food trucks starting March 6th.

I love The Tasting Room they have food as well as wine. It's a wonderful place to sit back and enjoy some wine. Very friendly staff.

This winery location is beautiful with hills and greenery. All of the wines available were made from Texas grapes and were very tasty. The building is really nice on the inside and the patio is cute. They also have food options available. We had the charcuterie board and we’re shocked by how reasonable the price was, especially for the amount of food on it. Definitely recommend!

Great local winery. The staff was great. We usually don't like white wines, but they have some great ones. Even took a bottle to go. Take a tour of the grounds too. Very nice place!

We loved it! The wine was good and the vineyard is beautiful. Our only issue is that we rarely have weekends off so we wish there were at least abbreviated weekday hours (MTW) so we could go get some more wine. We joined the club but aren't really able to enjoy it as a result.
