Dover Place Apartments, Houston TX

Clean, nice and quiet place to live.
It’s a small complex but the apartment itself if very spacious!
I feel really safe here.

Been living here with my small family for years now. We LOVE the peace and quiet and our neighbors.

Currently, I am just a co-applicant at these apartments and as a person who has served for our great nation, this place is worse then when I was deployed. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone!

I am almost positive that I was denied the lead applicant position because I don't fit the demographic here at Dover.

My handicapped vehicle (registered by the state of texas), was threatened to be removed from inside the "gated" property. It was parked in the designated handicapped parking spot that, is often used by people and personnel that are not deemed handicapped at the DMV level. Everyone has the same gate code here by the way (which seems like a safety issue).

Also, I am a single parent. Some nights when my roommate would go home (over 3 hours away), I would have my friends come to stay the night. For extra protection, safety, and security. Seems appropriate? According to the "Lady Diana". This was unacceptable. I wasn't allowed to have the safety and comfort of others here in a domicile I pay for.

So this "Welcome Home to Dover" never made this single, female, interracial, combat veteran feel welcomed!

If you want to live a life away from tyranny, DON'T STAY HERE!

One of the best apartments I’ve lived in. Quiet, safe, clean, and very well maintained. Diana is a great apartment manager and takes the time to get to know every one of her tenants. I highly recommend these apartments. Apartments are really nice and well maintained, I’ve never had a problem with anything here. Highly recommend!

Great apartments, management is nice and easy to talk to and fix any problem quickly. The area is nice and quiet. Our neighbors are kind and it’s a safe place for our daughter. Will recommend these apartments to our friends and family!

We love it here at Dover, best apartment complex in the area, love the gated park for kids to play in the. Parking is also great everyone gets a parking spot,
don't have to worry about it like those other complex that have over 300 tenants and can't find parking at nights. No noisy neighbors, everyone minds their business, just a great place to live in especially if you have kids, it's great for them, they will love the picnic area, fun for them to run and play. Diana the manager is great at solving any issue if any at all, and the maintenance at fixing anything. Will definitely continue here at Dover.

This is my second year choosing Dover Apartments and I couldn’t be happier with the place I chose as a home for me and my children. I’ve known about this apartment complex since I was in high school and have always liked how it was in hidden in a neighborhood at a dead end and it was a smaller complex. I’m not really into those open apartments that have 300 tenants and the maintenance crew shows up two weeks later. Diana, the leasing manager, is very informative and always shows concern. She runs a tight ship and the job always gets done. The maintenance guy will always come through quick, whether it’s same day or day after. The property looks amazing and the tenants respectfully, respect each other. There are hardly any noises at night and parking has never been a hassle. I really enjoy this place and so far one of my favorite apartments.

One star because these apartments can be quiet most of the time and most of the rules are good to have plus they are good about keeping the property clean but the management is horrible. The manager will listen to your problems and says she will do something about it but never does and she is always worried about the wrong things and the maintenance is just poor quality. The water lines were always low and never had any hot water and the manager would just blame it on other people using the water at the same time as us. My main problem is I never had ANY privacy, people around here including the manager never knew how to worry about themselves and mind their own. So glad our year here is over! Would not recommend these apartments to anyone.
