Dover Saddlery reviews
12They don’t have a much stuff at the store I will say they don’t have almost none. Youngest workers without any passion for the work! The worst service ever.one of the young girl there she is always putting the stuff inside the bag like it’s some piece of trash / plus how is possible someone works at clothes store and she seems like she has no idea how to fold a clothes? Seriously tragic service I hate going to this store but it’s only the one in Austin. Every visit is the same! People without energy with 0 interest/ fake / hate this store! Dover has good stuff but service at this store it’s deeply bad!
Dover's staff is always very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. That is where they excel. The selection is pretty good, however prices are high pretty much across the board. Until recently they were pretty much the only game in town, so you had very little options when you needed last minute equestrian gear or accessories. My daughter loves Dover, and now The Tack Hack, not far away is amazingly priced for overstocks of high end and other apparel & some gear. A great compliment yo Dover and awesome in it's own right. We were like kids in a candy store!
Went in to find a helmet for our daughter's first riding lesson and the ladies were very sweet. Ms. Hadley was patient in fitting our daughter's head and making sure it was a comfortable fit.
Came in to poke around, did buy some small items, both ladies working in the store were very friendly.
Team members are not very knowledgable or helpful, you can tell they have very minimal training and don't know what they're doing and they don't have socks for you to try boots on.
Shopped here for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Emma helped me from the moment I walked in and gave me her undivided attention until she found me the perfect boots. Emma was delightful and the store had plenty of inventory. Expectations exceeded! Looking forward to the next visit. Thank you, Emma, that was fun. Love my new boots!
Great selection, but you pretty much have to beg for help from the employees. Then they’ll offer to hold things for you up front, then complain that they were up there. I wish there were more tack stores around.
Awesome Dover location. Friendly and helpful staff. They also helped me fit a beautiful saddle to my horse.
Beautifully kept store representatively in order with the online presence. Priced right partnered with friendly knowledgeable staff.
The staff here are always helpful. It was great to work with them, and glad they could bring in stock from another store as needed.
Austin, Texas Store Manager Keslar K. Was so patient when I needed to return $600 worth of merchandise: I changed my mind on a couple of helmets. Then panic! My bank cancelled my card I used to purchase without telling me! So I was two hours from home and needing a return of a substantial amount. Keslar was so patient and allowed me to wait to get my bank stuff situated, which eventually involved multiple three-way calls with the ever-patient Keslar and my idiotic bank over a few days! We got it straightened out, but Keslar continued to check on the status days later to ensure I got the funds back. Who does that!? Dover’s fantastic Austin Store Manager! I will devote myself to her store, always! Even if it’s a day trip away!
Very nice store and the employees were super friendly and helpful. The four legged employees were absolutely adorable!
