Down the Street reviews
19Laid back chill vibe. Big patio.you can bring your dog if you want to. Order at the bar and serve your own water. Food was good but not amazing. Had sweet potato hash plus bacon and the breakfast burger. Street parking.
Very chill, laid back place. Great for a Friday afternoon drink with friends! Staff is friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Wonderful outdoor spot for eating. Pet friendly outdoor area. Yard games. Our breakfast food was some of the best we've had in Houston so far. Would gladly return.
You should really publicly list the kitchen hours. I walked there for a big plate of disappointment.
We have been for brunch, lunch, dinner, and really anything in between. Always a relaxed atmosphere, extensive selection of beer, great food, and very convenient
Parking a bit tricky for the local neighborhood bar but great patio and inside looked casual atmosphere. Umbrellasv were available to shade you from the glaring sun
Down the Street is a great little neighborhood bar with a large outdoor patio. We went there on a Sunday and although they have TVs for watching football, they were all tuned to the Texans game, so if you are looking to watch a different game you might want to go somewhere else.
Had to come review the fries here. Went to watch the Stros yesterday and wasn’t very hungry. Boy oh boy those french fries were goooood
AMAZING food! Great patio seating, you can even bring your furry friends as long as they're kept on a leash.will be back next time we are in Houston
We recently discovered this hidden gem with chill ambiance, good drinks and food at reasonable prices. Had an awesome time and we loved it!
It was a nice atmosphere, both inside and the outside patio area. I went on a Saturday at 1 p.m. And it was a bit over crowded. My party of 3 and I wanted to sit outside under an umbrella on their patio, however every single chair was taken. There wasn't any available parking near the restaurant. It is located and surrounded right in the middle of townhomes so you will see several signs that warn you not to park along the street near the restaurant. The menu was very limited with maybe 6 food items available and the drinks were overpriced. My group still enjoyed ourselves since our goal was to get out, socialize and eat/drink. I just prefer my dining experience to be a bit easier when going out for things like: ease of parking, variety on the menu, a good value, etc.
Went for steak night, could not be more pleased. Steak was cooked as requested, salad was crisp and fresh, garlic potatoes were hot and delicious.
Dope bar.love that its in my friends' neighborhood.heard they used to have a golf cart that would pick you up and take you home after drinking but not sure if they still do that.havent seen the cart in a while.
Our server Brandon was amazing how he took care of us. Will be back because of him and food!
Lovely place to hang our and the bartenders are the BEST. Service is impeccable and they make the best drinks too!
A great bar with even better food! Love the pizza and the truffle fries! Burger is great too!
Not bad. The times I've been there it's been loud inside. Bartenders are fantastic.
Amazing food selection. Had the honey Chick biscuit and di not disappoint. Unique location, tucked away. Hope you find time too!
