6Great place to go when you can't afford to buy food after paying your bills.
Most of the volunteers are very nice. You can go every other week. It really helps if you're on a tight budget. Just need to live in Lamar county. Always offer fresh milk and bread. Bonus items included fresh veggies. It's nice to have a place that helps you with a smile. They also allow people to serve Community service here. Always clean and most have a smile and kind words for you.
Long Waite times. And the new person that works at the door. Only allow 4 people at a time in when the waiting room can clearly hold more. There is a lot of elderly people that have to visit and stand in the heat cause she won't let them in.
Amazing volunteers, great lace to go if you need a little extra help with your groceries.
Waited an hour which is normal now that rules have changed to only 3 at a time goes in and this time someone/ a few had a problem with us having our own bags for our food. Some of the older ladies has issues that needs to be addressed on who to talk to others, I'm Black Rita
Just a huge amount of people helping other people and it's great to have them there.
