I waited an hour in the exam room before I ever saw Dr. Moosa. When she came in, she was clearly not focused on me as a patient. Her advice was generic and inaccurate. When asking about hormone tests as I'm aging, she said there are no tests for hormones (false). Though I have never been on birth control in my life, she defaulted to telling me I should get on birth control to treat low estrogen. I told her I didn't want to take estrogen without knowing if I needed it. She told me there is no magic number. I should assume my estrogen is low at my age. Red flag. When I mentioned weight gain, she told me I needed to change my diet, without even asking me what kind of diet I follow now. My lap results came through the portal, but they are hard to read/understand. I never got a call or message to explain the lab results to me. Terrible bedside manner, terrible/inaccurate advice, horrible wait time. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I would not recommend Dr Moosa to anyone, especially a pregnant woman. She was very rude and had horrible bedside manner. I asked her a few questions during my second prenatal visit and the responses she gave made me change my mind immediately and seek a new doctor. The wait time was horrible and the staff was very rude and unwelcoming, along with Dr Moosa.

Dr. Moosa is a very sweet and thorough doctor. She listens and gives excellent advice. If it wasn’t for her concern, I would’ve overlooked a health problem I wouldn’t have known about for the longest. Now I’m healthy again and pregnant with my first little munchkin:)

One of the worst experience my family had with this doctor. I never left a review but I felt it's important for anyone be treated make a better decision to go with someone who will provide better care. She gets annoyed if a family member questions her treatment plan. We are a family who have multiple doctors in our family we are well aware of the treatments. Just questioning her treatment plan made her angry, she doesn't like getting second opinions due to her ego which is clear. A good doctor should have the best interest in heart for their patient and should be okay with a second opinion to be safe. She blamed the family for creating a scene while we just wanted to know her plan of treatment as it was shown to be ineffective. She will not come to your delivery on her off day. Maybe our experience was different but reading other reviews I could see others have had similar experiences. Dr. Moosa try to listen your patient and their family members and not be insensitive. If a patient wants to question your treatment they are not undermining you; don't accuse them about creating a scene. As a doctor The attributes you should posses are to be cool calm, composed and more importantly understanding. You have not shown any of these attributes. I don't recommend Dr. Moosa to anyone as there are far more compassionate and good doctors who will not have the approach Dr. Moosa had. We wanted to file a complain to the medical director but choose not to as this is something now in the past but please change your approach for the betterment of your patients.

Thank you

Extremely disappointed with the Doctor. I am a patient of another Doctor in the same practice. Dr. Moosa was very unprofessional she never returned my calls. I had to chase them down. The nurse called and said Dr. Moosa will get back to me but never did. While my daughter was suffering.
I am switching her OBGYN

After suffering one missed miscarriage I decided to try going to Dr. Moosa for my second pregnancy. I have several friends that go to the same office, but different doctors and they all gave great recommendations. Overall Dr. Moosa and her staff were extremely hard to get ahold of, lab results took longer than expected to get back to me, Dr. Moosa was unprofessional and showed a lack of compassion and care. She showed a complete disregard for my feelings and wants. I felt unheard and unseen. I will not be going back to her or the office. I do not recommend her to anyone.
Here is my experience.
I was seen promptly due to unexpected bleeding. I got lab work done and was sent home. I got the results of my lab work 5 days later and then started to bleed again. I was again seen quickly and she stated it’s likely a miscarriage but could also be an abnormal pregnancy. I got lab work done again and was sent home with no idea what to expect. I experience severe pain and had NO IDEA if this was normal or if I was having symptoms of an abnormal pregnancy. I got a call 5 days later stating that my blood work came back and levels were dropping, again no mention of what to expect or follow up on how I was doing. I went back for a follow up and asked what would be done for my next pregnancy to help things along and she said there is NOTHING that she can do. I also mentioned anxiety due to multiple losses and she said that I need to get to the root cause of my anxiety.she sent me home with a prescription to stop bleeding and that was that. No one has followed up with me since.

I was overlooked completely with my symptoms of vomiting, abdominal cramping, and a missing period. For 2 + months and calling weekly letting them know of my symptoms not getting better. They just pushed anti nausea on me without further investigation.
At the beginning I was told I was needing to be treated for endometriosis, even though I said my pain didn’t feel like that and that I felt it was something else because it felt so different than what my previous experiences with the illness had been. Then Dr. Moosa did not listen to my intuition of being certain it was something else after having been dealing with that illness for over 10 years.
They gave me the prescription treatment for endometriosis and a prescription for codine for the pain without testing me for pregnancy when I was having severe cramps, vomiting and a missing period. I was not aware that abdominal cramps were a sign of early pregnancy. I called with concern about vomiting every day all day long about every hour for weeks and was prescribed OVER A PHONE MESSAGE anti nausea medication.
After I completed the entire endometriosis treatment I was still vomiting and still had abdominal pain. I made another appointment to be seen after I took a home pregnancy test and it came out positive. Once I was seen again after 2 + months of dealing with these harsh symptoms I was told that vomiting was not a side effect of the endometriosis treatment like they had assumed over the answering machine. So I don’t know why THEY PRESCRIBED me it and overlooked my symptoms and caused my baby to be exposed to very serious medication treatment to treat endometriosis when that was not what was happening to my body. I did not get confirmation of my pregnancy until I told them I had taken a home pregnancy test that came out positive and my pregnancy was confirmed with an ultrasound at 13 weeks and a few days gestation. I was 3 and a half months pregnant and had no idea because of these circumstances of overlooked symptoms and treatment.
It was very shocking to see a profile of a baby at 13 weeks + and I had a lot of anxiety for my baby going through my first ever pregnancy until I was about almost 7 months and had confirmation through my second opinion doctors that luckily he looks to be okay.
I’m so thankful I left that doctor office. The nursing staff was NOT FRIENDLY OR PROFESSIONAL either. They seem annoyed constantly and take forever to get back to you if not days. The doctor and nurses had overlooked blood tests I needed done after I had been to about 3 appointments did they finally recognize I was missing certain testing. It took them 3 appointments to see I was missing tests and bloodwork. That is their job to tell me what tests to take and where to get them done. How was I supposed to know what tests I needed done if I am not a doctor? They also sent me to a different doctor to have my thyroid looked at and treated because I have hypothyroidism after they said they would be checking in on it and they did not. I called and asked why this was not being taken care of and why did they tell me I had to wait on them when I should have been having treated and seen for this by the obgyn. No answer.
So I was tired of being overlooked and am glad I had someone else (my endocrinologist) who was thorough take care of me even though that is the job of the obgyn doctor and office I have come to find out. There were other things overlooked and missed tests and missed phone messages. I even had to go through another doctor to get proper gestational diabetes testing. I am now at a doctor office where they do all of these monitoring for me and the baby and am thankful I’m in better hands. Needless to say I do not recommend this doctor or their office. Me and my husband tried for a baby for 8 years with no luck and I was not taken care of well and am so glad I left that doctor and office so I didn’t have any more terrible experiences like other women who have lost their babies to them because of overlooked care. Please do not go to this doctor for you and your baby’s safety.

I don't like her since they billed with no reason. If you see Dr. Azeema, then a lot of assistants of her will also send you bill.

Dr moosa is very good. Loved her when first time I met her! She’s good listener, listening to what I have to say. She’s really good that’s all I can say! And she does introduce me to herself when she walk in. Friendly staffs, dr moosa friendly, sweet and very cute!:) I think I found myself an obgyn that I loved and also for future pregnant will definitely go with her!
