It is my first time to see Dr Chao yesterday, I am impressed about his professionalism and he asked many questions and treat his patients very well.

Thank God it is easier to get in touch with someone in the office now. Back then you had to call 20 times to have someone pick up.

Doctor recommended me to take X-ray in the down stair. Although I have the med.insurance, I was charged $500 by mail. The doctor's office should tell patients about this. And the doctor never called me to tell the results until I called him back to ask.

The office assistant is the worst.the first time we went, the doctor prescribed a total body pat/ct scan, when I tried to schedule with memorial herman imaging center they said the order was not clear and not legible, so I called the office they were reluctant to correct the problem, finally the doctor submitted a clearer order but then I was told the procedure was not described in enough detail so I just drove to the office to get a good order, I waited a couple hours they eventually faxed the order, I can clearly tell that the assistant doesn't know where to fax which order because the doctor also ordered a biopsy, when I schedule with the hospital they said they didn't receive the order, I had to call the doctor's assistant again to re-fax the order to the right department.when the biopsy result was out I requested to get a copy, the assistant picked up the phone but refuse to listen to me to finish, he broke my sentence and hang up. Left messages, never got call back. We really wanted to go with this doctor seeing the good reviews but NO NO from our own experience.
