Dr. David Turbay reviews
18The staff are always very friendly, helpful, but also professional. Whether it's the front office or the technicians or nurses or Dr Turbay in the back, it's always been a pleasant experience.
Best customer service experience I've ever received at the doctor's office. Annette is personable and kind, two rare attributes found nowadays. Thank you for making my 2 hour wait bearable.
The staff is very friendly and professional. From the front desk to the nurses and technicians, they are all great.
This place doesn’t even deserve a one star. Gave me an appt for 11 and still sitting there and was 1pm. Their excuse was that there was only one dr.
Very disappointed, took my wife for her appointment and will not be taking her back. Waited almost two hours to get vitals taken and even longer to see the Dr. An Ekg was ordered and Samantha was very unprofessional leaving the door open. (Usually wouldn't be upset by this, however they had her get undressed from the top. There were multiple patients walking back and forth in front of the room.) She should know better and her attitude was horrible. Not too mention when my wife was finally seen by the doctor he told her "I don't know what to tell you. I don't believe in your previous diagnosis and it's deconditioning. " Would not recommend to anyone, don't waste your time coming here.
I was sent to Dr. David Turbay by the VA and this place is horrible with scheduling. I wait over an hour after my appointment time to be seen every time this is absolutely ridiculous.
Scheduled at 12 didn't leave until 340. Lobby super packed and nobody was going anywhere anytime soon. Watched two movies while waiting to be called in only to be seen for two minutes, no explanation of anything, procedures, concerns etc. They should at least have some water for their patients. Won’t be going back. Doctor just sees $$$ not patients.
Dr. David Turbay is an excellent cardiologist and I am very grateful to him for helping me improve my health. My vital statistics have improved due to his recommendations in my medications.
Dr. Turbay has a thriving practice and I am a new patient, so I waited a while to be seen. However, once I was called back, the staff was super friendly and attentive. I was even provided with water and a snack! Dr. Turbay answered my questions and was thorough with my exam. He is very observant, patient and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone.
Every time i take my mom to her dr.app.they call her in always on time and the staff are very kind and friendly.thank u dr.turbay
My experience at Dr. Turbay’s office was great! The receptionist was very friendly and helpful to the other patients who were waiting to be seen. I was explained in great detail about my procedure that day and I was out in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommended this office.
The doctor lacks professionalism, very rude to the elderly. Please be aware. Got upset when he saw my elderly father for a second visit, and then started very sarcastically telling him that if he didn’t understand. My father is a Vietnam veteran and should not be treated like this by any doctor. So no he is not a compassionate doctor.
Worth the wait. He sees both my mom and dad. He's a Harvard trained cardiologist in El Paso. Also he offers clinical trials so you can get some of the most advanced care available.
My dad is a patient with Dr Turby my dad had an issue and the staff at Dr. Turby's office were great in resolving the issue. We are glad to have Dr. Turby as my dad's cardiologist.
Very busy clinic. The staff was very appropriate in handling patients cares, even us veterans who tend to be a bit grumpy lol.
Dr Turbay was very thorough and to the point. Didn't beat around the bush about letting you know what's going on and what needs to be done. Thanks
Was referred by the VA. The experience was horrible. Seems like they over schedule and the patient experience is not a priority. I waited in a janitor closet sized room for a while before a room was found for me. The doctor didn’t see me until an hour after my time to be seen. He spent literally two minutes in the room and was out. I would not recommend to anyone concerned for there health. The reception area was completely packed and only one receptionist. I’ll be asking VA to send me elsewhere.
Very kind clinic. Dr has a big heart. Kept saying it's gonna get fixed. Little scared drastic measures. Willing to try
