Dr. Deborah Cantrell, Lewisville TX

I am very happy with Dr Cantrell and the staff. Dr Cantrell is very thorough and has ordered numerous test, where other doctors did not even try.

Dr. Cantrell helped diagnose issues I was having that other doctors and neurologists had trouble with. After several visits and some tests, my health improved to a level I never thought it would. I appreciate her outstanding bedside manner and knowledge of new techniques, approaches, and medication.

I’ve had migraines for 44 years. I’ve been to the best migraine doctors at Baylor and UT Southwestern with no results. I was actually referred to Dr. Cantrell by one of the best at UT Southwestern. She takes her time with you. Doesn’t rush her time her with you. She added some medications and I’ve had 1 migraine in 5 weeks! One! I was missing work on average 2 days a week. On the verge of losing my job that I love so much. She also helped me with my insomnia which I’ve suffered with for years.my whole life has changed. She’s looking at my blood work and finding things my primary Doctor has never mentioned. I read reviews saying she does unnecessary testing but she needs to do certain testing to help you. She can’t just look at you and tell what’s going on. I would recommend and have recommended Dr. Cantrell. In my book she’s a Saint.

NEVER AGAIN! Appointment was in May 2020, Dr. Cantrell examined me in close proximity WITHOUT a mask, while she requires every patient to wear one in order to enter the premises. She was very condescending and used unprofessional language (quote: follow me to the "candy cabinet") before handing me some pills. She prescribed 4 different medication, that I had no idea what all this was for, besides the side effects are counter productive with the symptoms I have (!), then she wanted me to go on a Keto diet along with 12-14 hours of intermittent fasting which makes sense if you need to lose weight or have seizures - BUT I never had a seizure in my life and I am far from being overweight. She billed a stunning $ 460 for this EPIC FAILURE diagnosis. I have cancelled my follow up appointment and will not go back there. A one star rating is already too much!

Really nice person, willing to listen to ALL my symptoms and never makes me feel like its all in my head!

She needs her license removed. She is a pill pusher and is quick to recommend expensive unnecessary treatment - spinal taps and in hospital sleep studies. She relies heavily on prescribing brand name drugs. She is confrontational and provides no hope to her patients. She preys on fear.

I found a great doctor when I found Dr. Cantrell. I was having uncontrollable seizures and had to quit working. During a very difficult time in my life and my families life she spent the time to get me back to a regular life. I haven't had seizures in years. I was able to start working again. I do recommend Dr. Cantrell.

Dr Cantrell is the most through doctor I've ever had. She is upfront and honest, which is exactly what we needed. Thank you for your passion and care!

Dr. Combs-Cantrell and her staff are great! I feel like I've been listened to quite well from diagnosis and to all the questions that have arisen along the way. Dr. Cantrell is the best doctor ever! I started having seizures early this year and several people recommended Dr. Cantrell to me. She is very thorough, She is professional and has a wonderful bedside manner. I look forward to my visits. I am stable now, haven't had a seizure in 10months. Dr Cantrell has been extremely thorough in the exploration of my initial symptoms. Probably the most thorough doctor I’ve ever been to. Additionally, I’ve been in the care of Dr Cantrell for a TBI earlier this year. Her and her staff have been amazing to work with during this difficult time.
