The experience with the Dr was ok, but before going to this dr please be aware of the extreme charges and billing headaches that will follow. My son was a patient of this practice since he was a baby. Had 2 sets of eartubes done etc.it had been a number of years since we had been back, thank goodness. Over the summer we went to see a dr at the practice to take a look at his tonsils due to a number of bouts with tonsillitis. He took a quick look in his throat and said they look fine and we will wait and see. The medical records listed this as a consult but they coded it as a new patient because it had been 3 years since we had been there and this was a new dr for my son as his other had retired. There was no mention of this before. Then get a bill a few months later for over $500 which was after insurance, and the amount we owed.

We found this outrageous and started calling billing and the dr office to see what could be done. The dr office was friendly but in the end said sorry there is nothing we can do. The billing department, specifically the supervisor were awful to deal with. They were rude and zero understanding of the situation. We had no option but to pay the $500+ for the consult. We will not be going back to this practice. Please be aware before going and try to see if you can get pricing ahead of time, but I would doubt it as the lack of transparency is probably a feature for them and not a bug.

Dr. Albright himself was very nice and professional. We were also happy with the procedure. However, I do have concerns about lack of transparency at least with regard to the medical facility this office was partnered with. We were referred to River Oaks Medical facility l. We were called by them to pay the facility bill before the procedure. This is in addition to the fees and chargers due for the doctor operating the procedure. Then several months after these several thousands of dollars we are receiving $600+ chargers from the anesthesiologist. I know this may be common but if "just because everyone else is doing something with lack of transparency" doesn't make it right.

Be careful! Their charges are outrages. I went with my son for a fluid and hearing test and they've billed me 7 times than a different specialist in Bellaire (using the same insurance). They DID NOT notify me in advance like other place do, and that's when they had 2 months to get my benefits verified (2 months waiting list). Their billing department said I can send a dispute via email but didn't hear back, even when tried to follow up
via Email, voice mails etc'.

Dr. Albright is wonderful. He came as a recommendation from a relative and he didn’t disappoint. Our first visit was related to recurring ear infections. After a hearing test and review of my son’s history, Dr. Albright recommended tubes. He was not pushy and covered everything in full. We opted for tubes to be placed by him at the TCH TMC facility, another great experience. Alan Heidecker performed his hearing tests in office and was so kind and patient. While the parking garage at the Fannin location is unfortunate, that is out of his control. We will continue to visit Dr. Albright and his team as needed.

Dr. Albright was just amazing from start to finish in helping with my daughters tonsillectomy. Very friendly, knowledgeable and comforting. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.
