Dr. Marcia S. Genta, MD, Dallas TX

After being unexpectedly dropped by my previous rheumatologist with out sufficient notice, Dr. Genta’s office was able to take me in as a new patient. The staff is exceptionally kind and informative. I felt heard and appreciated as a patient. They were even able to coordinate my specialty medication with the pharmacy before I left the office from my first appointment. Dr. Genta’s bedside manner is compassionate and refreshing, something sloughing off the medical industry across the board. I truly appreciate Dr. Genta & the entire team.

I had a first time appointment with Dr. Genta. Her front office staff was professional and courteous. That's where the positive portion of my visit ended. Dr. Genta's bedside manner is horrible. She spoke to me in a condescending manner. From the words she spoke to me I cannot trust her to give me the care I deserve. I will be seeking other options. Based upon my experience with this Dr I would not recommend her.

After I posted this review of Dr Genta I herself as her office assistant. She requested I remove the negative review about Dr Genta. I told her I would be willing to update the review after my next appointment with Dr. Genta. The assistant informed me that the review would need to be removed prior to my appointment. I told her I was not willing to do that. The assistant told me if I didn't remove the review then Dr. Genta would not be able to see me. This behavior appears to be unprofessional for doctor. Especially one who was recognized by "D" magazine. In my opinion this bullying behavior.
I would not recommend this practice to anyone. I'm changing the 2 star to 1 star.

I been seeing Dr. Genta since November 2022, and she's is Great. I am in the best hands for my care, definitely the top Doctor in her field 5stars

I visited Dr. Genta's office on Friday, August 18,2023. I have been having severe arm pain on my forearm for about 2 months. After, finally going to my primary care physician, he referred me to Dr. Genta. Her staff was exceptional and she provided me with exceptional bed side manner. She was very attentive in listening to what was going on with me, also showing me what was going on with me using diagrams & pictures. She also took the time out to look at some other parts of my body. I ended up finding out that I was double jointed, lol. I had a great experience here.

I am a new patient of Dr. Genta. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in understanding my symptoms. She took the time to thoroughly exam my hand and asked questions about my overall health background. Dr. Genta recommended a treatment plan and answered all of my questions. Overall great bedside manner. In addition, her medical assistant and staff were very welcoming, friendly and let me feel at ease during the entire visit.

Dr. Genta was very thorough, knowledgeable and reassuring. I must also staff and I mean all staff were friendly and thoughtful.
