Dr. Matthew Furman, MD, Temple TX

Dr. Furman was polite and patient. Listened to what I had to say and was very nice. Pharmacy in the same building is high made getting prescription easy and fast. Front desk staff and nurses were knowledgeable and courteous

Just had my annual physical with Dr Matthew Furman. I couldn't ask for a better caring, concerned doctor. He's been my primary care doctor for years. I have refused to change primary care doctors at all. He's has stuck by me and helped me through all my medical problems. Referral to different doctors that are specialized in different fields of health problems like Chronic Kidney Diease. He's a great doctor.

Dr. Furman Is an excellent primary care physician. Always sending you to the perfect specialist if need be.

Instead of an office visit, Dr. Furman and I had a virtual/phone visit. It worked out very well.

Easy to schedule appointments, friendly medical team. Dr Furman is very patient and thorough to address all questions.

I went to appointment with several concerns. Dr. Furman patiently listened to everything I needed to discuss and showed steps I needed to take next.

My appointments with Dr. Furman were rescheduled twice since October, both less than a days notice, because “we just got word he will be out tomorrow”, costing me time and money. I find it rather unprofessional to cancel less than 24 hours before my appointment. I now have to scramble to find an appointment for my annual physical before 12/31/21, otherwise my insurance premiums go up $100 monthly. My dealings with Furman and Acension have just proven to be a waste of my money, sick leave, and time. Can anyone recommend a reliable PCP? I just moved to the area and need a medical professional I can count on.

Dr Furman is terrific. Takes all the time necessary to explain everything to me.
My concern comes when I call his office and ask to speak to his nurse. It can take up to a week to get a response. There is no reason to take that long for a call back.

Dr. Furman is awesome! He was prompt and responsive. He listened and valued my input. His office is very quick to respond with any question or refill matters. I would highly highly recommend Dr. Furman to anyone seeking a good family medicine doctor!

I had another appointment in the building And stopped by Dr. Furman’s office to ask about vaccinations. The receptionist was able to to get me in to the office for a flu shot with the nurse. The office was fast, efficient and very courteous.
