Dr. Michael Kaplan, Houston TX

I was very disappointed in my experience with Dr M. Kaplan himself. He entered the room without even closing the door. He was very nonchalant and said he didn't see anything wrong with me. He suggested that I do a CT Scan but after doing so, he still had nothing to say. He was very uninterested in my issue and very fridged in his diminner. I arrived 30min early and waited a whole 40min after my appointment time to get called not including the wait time in the room.
Just cause you have a degree doesn't mean you can treat people like that. Keep in mind that if you didn't have patients you wouldn't have a business.

Dr. Kaplan is a very caring and knowledgeable ENT physician. He was recommended to me by another reputable doctor as one of the best. He explained in very clear language the procedure he was going to perform. He and his staff did a great job at making me feel confortable and confident that I was in very good hands.

Dr. Kaplin is a top notch doctor. Very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and always timely. I’d recommend him to all!

I am very pleased with Dr. Kaplan and my overall experience with his office and staff. From the very first visit, he and his staff were very considerate of my time, upfront with all costs associated with my care and very professional. It has been 6 weeks since my balloon sinuplasty procedure and I am very happy with the results. I am able to breathe again at night and no longer snoring, an improvement I am very happy with.
I will admit, I was a bit concerned about going to a physician who advertises on TV and billboards. I wasn't sure of the quality of care I would receive and decided I would go elsewhere if I was made to feel the least bit uncomfortable or pressured. Happily that was not the case at all, and I am glad I put aside my pre-judgements and went to see Dr. Kaplan. Also, since I was uncomfortable with the advertising, I have to own up and admit that had it not been for the ads, I would not have been aware of the treatment options available to me. Lesson learned!

I called Dr. Kaplan and made my consultation appointment for January 19, at 10: 00 AM. Upon my arrival his clinical staff was so helpful and great to work with. Everyone’s attitude was upbeat and very positive. Dr. Kaplan came into the exam room and could tell I was having issues. Dr. Kaplan was great at putting my mind at ease, when we went to CT Scan to take x-rays, he was able to show me how many issues I had. WOW! Was I surprised?
After consultation, we went back to my exam room and discussed, procedure, insurance, and any concerns I had. He was able to schedule everything for me on Friday, January 22. I had a company vehicle drive me to my Friday morning appointment, I was early and nervous all at the same time, I was assured everything was going to go well, which put me at ease.
Now here is something I’ve never had performed by any of my doctors. Dr. Kaplan called me personally over the weekend to see how I was doing, and if I needed anything to let him know.
This shows me Platinum Customer/Patient Service! A doctor who shows care and compassion for his patients. I would do it all again, this is coming from someone who has suffered chronic sinus issues for more than 30 plus years.
Do yourself a favor and go check him out, an associate from my office had the same procedure a year ago. I am not sure what I was waiting for.

Dr. Kaplan and his staff are wonderful! Very friendly and professional, I felt valued as a patient. Dr. Kaplan actually called me personally after my surgery to check on me. The results are what I hoped for and would recommend his practice to anyone.
