Dr. Ravi Mani, M.D., Webster TX

I was pleasantly surprised to be able to be seen the same day I called for an appointment. However, my experience was less than optimal. The staff are very pleasant. The doctor was less concerned about my liquid, daily 22-30 bowel movements, stomach cramping and pain and more concerned with convincing me I needed a COVID vaccination. I currently do not have insurance so I paid $250 and left with a prescription for my stomach cramping (that I requested) and was told I needed a colonoscopy and an upper endoscopy. I agree I need those things but perhaps an X-ray of my abdomen would have revealed the partial bowel obstruction that was causing my crisis. I will seek a more personable gastroenterologist to follow up with. Thank you.

Dr. Mani is straight to the point. So straight to the point that concerns or problem to me personally go unheard or ignored. He is a good doctor he knows his stuff. He should just slow down and take the time to listen.

Dr. Mani is my family doctor when it comes to Gastroenterology!
He listens to all detail giving you back the best of his many years of experience.

Dr Mani made time in his schedule to see me on an impromptu basis to observe my illness. He then referred me to a Doctor friend who saw and immediately sent me to the hospital that same day. He went way beyond what most Doctors would do to get me the hospital. A hospital stay that very possibly saved my life.

Excellent physician and office staff. Dr. Mani does not rush. Yes and takes the time to listen and answer any questions.

Dr Mani has been my doctor for 20 years. He helped me through an attempt to beat HepC many years ago, and then helped me beat it three years ago. I am Hep C free. Recently I had a bout with lower gastro issues, and he prescribed medication that healed me.

He is a great physician.

Dr. Manny is not my type of doctor he has no bedside manner, he did his medical notes right in front of me which I thought was unprofessional. He didn’t ask if I would like a medical student in the room with us. Also he didn’t even examine me.

I have been Dr. Mani's patient for over 20 years and found him to be exceptional, always thorough in his questioning and diagnosis. His attitude always positive and listens.

Dr. Mani took the time to explain all procedures and findings! When given prescription, needless to say he explained the importance of med.

After procedure he did not make contact with me or my wife. We were sent home with no instructions on what to do. He did not go over procedure results.

Dr. Mani is an excellent gastroenterologist. He has treated me for several years, and following his advice, my Barrets Esophagus has not progressed. In addition, he is very personable and is interested in your family.

Dr Mani is very knowledgeable and professional. He truly cares about his patients. He takes time to address questions and concerns. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Mani is a personable and patient physician. He's an on time doctor who allows you to ask questions concerning your health. He has never rushed me nor has he made me feel that any of my concerns were not warranted or nonsense. All in all I trust him to take care of me and be my health-care provider.

I waited for two two hours to be seen. My lab results were faxed to them multiple takes but we're never received but they would not also any other method of receiving them.
