I trust Dr Flores 100% and have the upmost respect for him. An amazing doctor - a ninja with a scalpel, he removed the daily pain that I had been experiencing in my shoulders. Flores repaired my left rotator cuff and 6 months later fixed the other side. It was a rough year but now they are pain free and strong. I can’t say enough good things about the positive experiences I’ve had with Dr. Flores.

I wrote that review 10 years ago, after he repaired my left and right shoulders, relieving me of all the pain they were causing. Since then he has also repaired me left acl and meniscus. And in two weeks the doctor is getting another crack at my right shoulder which has been causing me a ton of pain. The first repair was textbook and my crazy life is responsible for the need for a second surgery. Still there is no one that I would trust other than Dr Flores.

I come across people in Houston who mention to me their shoulder problems and whenever someone has had surgery I always inquire who the surgeon was. When they say Flores it is always followed by praise and appreciation and sometimes they also mention his classy style and flair for funky socks.

In a perfect world we wouldn’t need orthopedic surgeons. That is not realistic. I am very fortunate that every time I fall down Dr Flores is there to put me back together. Thanks Doc.

Dr. Flores is very professional, knowledgeable, and detailed! I had a pretty significant shoulder injury, resulting in surgery. Everyone from the front staff, surgical coordinators, care team, and surgeon was incredible. Dr. Flores executed a beautiful repair on my shoulder, setting me up for a great rehab process. This is my 3rd shoulder surgery over a span of many years, and I have to say that this one has been the least painful recovery (even though this was the most intense surgery). I am thankful for everyone at their office and for Dr. Flores helping me return to the things I love most.

When i realized i needed rotator cuff surgery back in 2020 on my left shoulder, after having a bad experience from a random sports medicine surgeon on my right shoulder from a previous injury. I wanted someone with some serious skills. I look for a surgeon who does work on our Great Houston multimillion dollar pro athletes. When i checked with the Texans, Rockets and Astors, the same name kept coming up, Dr. Flores. My thoughts were that if these organizations want Dr. Flores to work on their athletes, then he should be able to do work better than that other doctor i had. After meeting and having a great consultation with Dr. Florez and providing the MRI's he needed. Flores and his team went to work on my shoulder. Post surgery Flores assistant told me that my shoulder was one of the worst he had ever seen. Flores had to think on the fly when he realized the damage was far greater than what the MRI revealed. He told his team to stop, because he had to rethink the plan. Flores assistant told me that what he ended up doing was nothing less than amazing. Basically he had to reconstruct the muscles and tendons in my shoulder. He did such a great job that i went through rehap quicker than expect. I quickly had more range of motion than what that other doctor did to my other shoulder. My strength came back on schedule. I've had NO issues with my shoulder since the surgery. Thank you doctor Flores for thinking outside the box, and not settling for less than perfection.

The knee surgery that I had was exactly what was said to me. Dr Flores explained to me everything that was going to happen and answered all of my questions and concerns. His after care was top notch. Everything went as described and I am so happy with how my knee works again.
