I am a UROGYN who participated in Dr. Hailparn's in-person cosmetic vulvovaginal surgery course. I found her to be an incredible person and host and an excellent surgeon and teacher. Dr. Hailparn has true compassion for her patients and her staff is wonderful. I highly recommend her to both potential surgery trainees and to patients looking for cosmetic GYN surgery.

It’s not often you get to spend two and a half days with an actual genius in our specialty. At first I was concerned about the cost of Dr. Hailparn’s course. Once we sat down together and she began to explain so many nuances of the detailed and strategic anatomical approach as a surgeon who desires to help each unique woman as an individual I had a complete calm wash over me regarding the investment I made. I was filled with excitement listening to her historical accounts of our many gynecology mentors all over the world and the comparative results of several approaches. Dr Hailparn is a quick mind…. Better take your vitamins to keep up with her! Her passion and energy refreshed me in an inspirational
way after a long work week of obstetrics, and she was the breath of fresh air I needed. She knows ACOG standard and improved my detailed informed consent practices although they were pretty thorough already. I got to meet her patients back in the office (awesome and professional team staffers too!) and saw the ways she handles postoperative pain and their questions.
She treated me to a wonderful and casual lunch in a beautiful San Antonio restaurant where we got to know each other in terms of life story and career goals, as well as the evolution of interests in gynecology practice. Adore this expert so much!

After raising three children and the dissolution of a 25+ year marriage I finally started spending time and focusing on me. I traveled to Houston and Dallas to have consultations with doctors that spend a lot of money on online advertising so they always showed up first in my searches for the right doctor. I finally had a consultation with Dr. Troy Hailparn (a female BTW. I also was hoping to find the right surgeon that happened to be a female because I knew I would personally feel more comfortable with discussing my concerns with another female.) She is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what she does, she spends as much time as you need to talk out your concerns and what she can do to address them and she also explains a lot of what she thinks might benefit you or not. She explains how and why the surgeries she performs benefit your body's function and aren't just for cosmetic purposes (the other high profile doctors I consulted with only focused on aesthetics.) She has albums full of before and after photos to go through and explains the differences of the different cosmetic aspects of the surgery to make sure you are very comfortable and educated to make sure you get the look you want. She makes sure you have what you need to be comfortable, including her personal cell phone number, after surgery. I had a vaginal rejuvenation and perineoplasty and I am so thrilled I did. I feel like all of my "female parts" have been restored to pre-delivery condition (actually better) and I feel confident entering this new phase of life. I would easily travel across the country to use Dr. Hailparn!

Dr. Hailparn is AMAZING! I am 30 years old and I’ve been having problems since I was 16. Talking with Dr. Hailparn is like talking to an older, wiser friend. She took the time to teach me about my body and to let me know that I was not unusual; which is something I thought I was for most of my life because girls and women just don’t talk about these kinds of things. When she told me that I was normal, it was like years of self-inflicted shame disappeared. In terms of my labiaplasty and other procedures, everything went as expected and I am very happy with the results. The office staff is also very kind and efficient. One other thing I liked about Dr. Hailparn is that she gives you her personal number and email address, so that you can contact her at any time. With Dr. Hailparn, you are getting the very best doctor along with excellent patient/customer service.

Dr. Hailparn is an amazing person. Before my surgery she was very kind and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. She is Very thorough with information and made Sure she answered all my questions and more. I recently had my procedure with her and she made sure I was ok every step of the way, she even went out of her way to contact me personally several times throughout the day and night after surgery to make sure my pain level was low and manageable. I am VERY VERY happy with my results and glad I chose Dr. Hailparn as my Surgeon.

I’ve been seeing the same gynecologist for 6 years. Every time I want to discuss my issues, she keeps telling me to “live with it. ” A friend of mine told me about Dr. Hailparn and I’m so glad I found her. She’s a doctor with a sense of humor.
