Dr. Vijay Sharma, M.D., Murphy TX

Saddest and most depressing visit for me when your dr ask you questions regarding your health but fail to let you speak and respond to the point my anxiety and depression take over me, then get left in a room and forgotten had me so lost, all i did was walk out in tears without ever getting to say what ills me especially after covid. Seem im forever suffering in silence when you don't feel welcome at your own dr office. The PA was the reason i stayed but sadly she wasn't there today.

My husband and I both see Dr. Vijay Sharma and we love him! He is so caring and smart. He is always very attentive to what we say and goes above and beyond to help with whatever we have going on. Dr. Sharma is always available and willing to see us and answer any questions we have. His staff is very nice and helpful too.

My mom went to this clinic and to get her physical done, it’s been 4 weeks and she hasn’t gotten her test results back. Upon inquiring, staff is clueless, unprofessional and rude. Avoid going to this place. Very poor management and bad work ethics.

I have concrete proof of everything that supports this post. I would give less than one star if I could. Dr. Sharma is one of the most uncaring, unprofessional, and unethical primary care physicians that I have ever had. I am in constant pain from osteoarthritis and Lupus. My quality of life from knee pain is starting to impact my mental health. I am in constant pain and I was looking forward to getting my knees replaced because I heard so many success stories. But my surgery has been cancelled 4 days before it is supposed to take place. Dr. Sharma does not care about the constant pain I am going through and has not personally seen me for over a year but he has refilled my prescriptions without requiring an office visit.
I am under the care of a rheumatologist and they see me every month and have personally witnessed and treated my arthritic knees for many years. My rheumatologist agrees with the urgency of my surgery date and has never required me to see a cardiologist. Dr. Sharma blocks the surgery siting pericarditis that occurred over 10 years ago due to a lupus flare to stop me from getting surgery when he never required me to go to a cardiologist annually yet I was cleared by a cardiologist and given a clean bill of health back in 2019. Dr. Sharma called my phone over 12 times (I have proof) trying to stop my surgery because he does not like my surgeon. He has been rude to me in the office busting into the examination room while his PA is trying to treat me. He does not respect or care about his patients. He only cares about getting his way like a child.
At one time I loved going to Dr. Sharma until I noticed the change in his professionalism and work ethic. I have gone to him for years but today I will find another primary care physician and have my surgery put off for weeks to months. I will endure this pain that keeps me from getting adequate rest and the stress of it all that threatens to bring my Lupus out of remission. My surgery has been postponed thanks to Dr. Sharma supporting a “hidden agenda and personal campaign” against my surgeon.
I feel it is only necessary to write a review so that no one has to experience his lack of empathy and work ethic upholding the Hippocratic Oath because it is clear that he does not care about his patients unless they go to the doctors and surgeons that he wants them to go to. In the United States we have freedom of speech to address situations like the one I face today. It is imperative that the people know the truth so that they can make the right choice in deciding who they trust with their lives.

Dr. Vijay Sharma is best PCP I have ever seen in United States. He goes deeply into each problems and not only he gives good advice but also recommends the required test to keep everything on right track. I would definitely give him 5 stars.

We went there to get a medical exam for immigration. I’m giving a three star because it was not an easy process for us. It was a back and forth to get everything done on time. Now days with work and kids we as parents we want everything done in one visit. They made us pay upfront and, after the first visit they made us feel like we will not get things done on time, Even though we had almost three weeks. I ended up pick up the medical exam two days before the due day.like i said it was not an easy processed.

Dr Sharma has been providing personal care for my elder parents who have many health problems. Yet, Dr Sharma and his PA Harneet Kaur always take time to listen to us and spend time with each patient as if with their own family members. My son recently became Dr Sharma’s patient and he also appreciate the service.
We appreciate their TLC, professionalism, experience and responsive patient service. Dr. Sharma and Ms. Kaye have earned our loyalty for life.

Dr. Sharma is a great doctor, awesome bedside manner, very knowledgeable, takes time to investigate and treat your complaints. I am a nurse, trust me when I tell you that I have been around a few doctors, Dr. Sharma does not have that God complex, that condescending tone and mannerism that so many doctors have, he treats his patients with the upmost respect. His PA Harneet is great too (sorry if I am murdering her name). The entire clinic staff at the Murphy (that’s the clinic I usually go to) office is great, nice folks, eager to help. I will recommend a million times.

Dr. Vijay Sharma provided outstanding service! He was able to provide a thorough and accurate diagnosis with effective treatments for my medical issues. He brings back the culture of doctors of the past, where he will talk to you personally rather than have his nurses call. It's like how doctors made house calls in the past. These are great qualities and these are the reasons why I highly recommendations Dr. Sharma!

Very personable Doctor with great bed side manner, who cares about his patients. I have been seeing Dr. Sharma for over a decade and have been very happy with his practice. He was also my Dad's physician before he passed away. He always takes the time to listen to me during the visits and has done a good job of keeping up with my condition and suggesting newer medications that may be a better fit. I also appreciate the front office staff, especially Devyani in following up.
