It seems like a very nice shop to go get your dreads done they're just NOT KID FRIENDLY which means if you got kids you're a single parent find somewhere for your kids to go because there's not enough space she basically turned me and my son down. I didn't lie about nothing saying it's not enough space for my KIDS SAYS IT ALL THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH AND HAVE A BLESSED DAY

This was our 1st time visiting Dreads by Dotie. This place is wonderful! The vibe is so chill, pleasant and welcoming. The entire process from booking to completion was convenient and professional. I've been coming here for years and will continue to. Dotie is amazing and her entire staff are professional, courteous and helpful. I suggest purchasing some of hair essentials that she makes as well.

I am tenderheaded and nervous when it comes to sitting in a salon and getting my hair done but I gave Dotie a chance and very happy to say that I left ecstatic! And this girl has not been in a salon since circa 2008. Thank you for treating me like one of your best customers and slaying these starter locs. My head did not hurt at all the entire time and I'm scheduled for a repeat visit. ;)

I scheduled an appointment for 1/28 with Dotie and she called me 50 mins prior to my appointment to tell me the shop is having an electrical issue and she also contradicted herself stating they had an outage and she were waiting on Oncor to give her a call back. I checked the zipcode/address and Oncor wasn't aware of any outage. I heard so many people while she was on the phone and there is absolutely noway people would still be inside the building if there's an electrical issue if you have no hot water etc! I find it very unprofessional.

This salon is the best salon in the city! We drive for almost an hour once a month for services. My daughter had the opportunity to be a client of three locticians, and the results are always consistent. She’s going on two years of being loc’d, and we see growth! Easy booking, clean shop, and always pleasant.

I love this salon. They are always professional and communicate effectively. It’s in and out so no sitting there all day waiting to get your hair done. Every style is very skilled, knowledgeable, gentle with your crown. I always felt comfortable asking my stylist questions about my hair or just chatting.
