Dripping Springs Animal Hospital reviews
15Always a great experience. Everyone is always so nice and helpful from Sherry at the front desk to the tech Dakota and the Drs are awesome!
You all were so kind when my son had to put his dog down while visiting here with his dog from Colorado. You all have been great with our cats. Always a good experience.
Dr Velez was very thorough, compassionate, and professional. She explained our Tango's heart condition and increased his medication as well as added a diuretic. The change in regimen seems to be working because his coughing is much less. Unfortunately, at 14.5 years old his heart condition is terminal. We will continue to love and care for our furbaby until he has to cross the rainbow bridge.
Con, the funeral home music was extremely depressing.
Update:
A few months later he was diagnosed with kidney failure. Unfortunately, our sweet Tango had to be put down several weeks later. We are grateful for the gentle, compassionate care they had for Tango and us during the procedure. We chose to have him cremated. A week later we got a nice cedar box with Tango's ashes, clay footprints, a card signed by every staff member, ink footprints on a framable mat, and an engraved brass nameplate for his cedar urn.
We will continue to take our other furbabies to Dripping Springs Animal Hospital in the future.
Welcoming, caring and friendly - they always take good care of us and our pooches. So glad they are in Dripping!
Our family loves the Dripping Springs Animal Hospital and their friendly staff!
We have four large dogs and they are all in great care at the Dripping Springs Animal Hospital!
Our dog, Stella broke her leg and displaced her hip. Dr. Velez immediately took action when I brought her in to handle her pain and put her leg in a splint. She even came in on her day off the next day to make sure she was doing well and changed her bandages. Dr. Shumun performed surgery the next day and the entire team has been so caring for Stella across all fronts. They’ve been great at communication, providing updates, and setting correct expectations during a very difficult time. The whole team is just the best.
DSAH is great because the staff is great. Facilities and location are also great, but I'd drive much farther than I have to to get to work with these folks. My pups love them too. Also, their prices are fair and they don't try to upsell you. And their meds are often priced lower than Chewy!
Friendly, competent staff. Great doctor. Clean, quiet treatment rooms. I would definitely recommend DSAH.
Danica and Dr. Dudley were awesome and very helpful when I brought my cat in for what I thought were ear mites but it turned out he had an ear infection. They cleaned his ear and healed the very next day!
Very understanding and supportive of my dogs personality needs, and we were able to get in and out on the same day i called. Doctor offered an easy - at home remedy to help my dog so that i didn't overspend on medications. Will absolutely bring my pups here again.
Charlie's visits are always great. You make her feel comfortable and safe. And the same goes for Smidge when I bring him in! Thank you.
Love Dripping Springs Animal Hospital. Everyone there, from the techs to the vets, have all been wonderful with my 2 senior dogs and given great care and advice.
First and last time here. Our dog lost a nail and we brought him in to see what is going on. Dr. Wilson cut his quick (not sure why she did this) and he started bleeding like crazy. They wrapped his paw up and sent us home. Said maybe allergies and she sat down on the floor and lectured me to switch him from raw food to kibble. I have been feeding both of my dogs raw food for 6 years now and did extensive research. BTW they did say he looked very good. Few mins later he was still bleeding and Dr. Wilson said she has never seen a dog bleed so much in 15 years so now we have to sedate him to get the bleeding to stop. Now, Dr. Shurman comes out and says his back nail came off too and he thinks it's not allergies but trauma. So when they sent us home prior to sedation they never even checked his nails to see others are falling off. We paid 3 separate charges $25 appointment fee, $143 for visit and additional $164.50 to sedate him. The vet should of never cut his quick causing him extreme bleeding and severe pain. I couldn't wait to get out of there. We went to another vet and my dod was diagnosed with SLO, an auto immune disease. I had to call the office to get my $25 appointment fee returned. No follow up or anything. I had dogs my whole like and never experienced this type services.
Always always ALWAYS a great experience with DSAH! We were in and out in 30 minutes.my cat got lots of love and two churu treats (her favorite). Staff is always so kind and helpful! Highly recommend!
