We had been customers for 15+ years. Great service and quality work when Bill Tappler was the owner. Since the new owner took over the quality and service has gone down quickly.
We brought in a new - worn one time - $250 custom made dress shirt. A receipt was presented showing the cost and date of purchase for the shirt since it was new. It was ripped down the back during the laundry process. The manager (who was very nice) offered $50 as replacement for the shirt per the owner’s policy. She said the owner would not allow additional cost towards the replacement of the shirt. When I asked the owner to call me I was told he was too busy and out of town.
I chose not to accept the money as I felt doing so would show I agreed with his policy to not pay full price to replace new the custom shirt. He was not interested in retaining a long time customer. Beware of this business if you expect quality work and customer service.
Horrible! I would give zero stars if I could. First incident was when an email notification was sent to advise my cleaning was done. I pick it up and a dress was missing so I immediately go back. And they advised my dress will be ready tomorrow! They failed to tell me at time of pickup. I thought I’d give them another try and they lost my item! I had to keep calling because no one would follow up with me when they said someone would call to status. No one wanted take responsibility. I’m never going back which is sad because it’s close and convenient to home.
