Drybar - Plano - Legacy

Clarissa was fabulous, she was absolutely kind and so gentle with my curly hair which aren’t easy to blow dry, I showed her a photo and told her exactly what I wanted and she did the exact same thing. Highly recommend the salon!

I have textured hair and after my second visit, I can officially say that I love it here! The stylists are efficient and use the appropriate heat settings. The products are great too! My blowouts have never looked so amazing and lasted so long.

My go to spot if I want my hair styled for an event! Easy to schedule, fairly quick to get in and out, nice and clean salon. Nicole was awesome!

They at least be realistic and honest and try to help everyone that comes through the door, which I like. The convenience of the location makes it a get place to go.

My friend and I came yesterday get our hair done for a wedding. I had guy working on my hair I ask if a braid would suit me he recommended me not to get a braid. He rush through my hair and my friend was still getting her hair done (I have so much hair compare to her so I was shocked to be done so fast) he give me mirror to look at my hair. It was nothing like Mai Tai picture. I was so embarrassed when I saw my hair looking flat. I felt like he was ready to grab next customer. Had him redo the hair cause I couldn’t go to a wedding looking like that! Then he want to offer me a braid but he like depending on time. I just had him redo curls and bring them up cause I have no idea what he did first time. He also took big chunks of hair so he could finish faster. This was awful experience and as a regular customer this was just terrible. Once I got to venue I had a bridesmaid redo my hair before the wedding. This was a waste of money and time. Normally satisfied every time I come but not this time. Not to mention I had scheduled dry styling but he was walking me to get a wash. Had to stop him tell him what I came for.

They took my money for not showing up on time. They asked me for a credit card to hold the appointment that is what all that was said. Then when we missed our appointment my bad they charged my card for the full price without telling me there cancellation policy. And when I called to ask why they charged the full price of the service they said there was nothing they could do not even a gift card or 50% off nothing and wouldn’t let me talk to the manager. So they stole 100 from me and it was for my daughters Home coming dance.

I love drybar. My usual location is in atl but I was in Texas on a last minute trip. They got me in with only a couple days notice and I got my usual style (old fashion or something like that). Styling was perfect and lasted over a week even in the hot humid Dallas weather.

Shea was wonderful! She did a great job giving me a perfect blow out in preparation for maternity photos! Highly recommend!

Cali was the Best! She is the absolute sweetest! She made my visit very relaxing and made my hair look sooo good! I highly recommend her!

I love this location. I don't have a go to stylist and have been coming here for a couple of years. I've only had one meh experience and that was more of an issue with my hair and how it holds the curls. I learned from that and am specific with my request to the stylist I'm assigned. Front desk and all stylists have always been friendly.

This company is where I send my Entertainment clients that I managed before a show.

This location took very good care of my client or Rachel right before the world series of comedy.

Fantastic and was very happy with the result. I would like to thank the local customer support team for expediting and facilitating a wonderful experience.

I reached out to this location to share the frustration and they were extremely responsive. She credited my daughter back the cost of her blowout and was very understanding. We will definitely be giving this location another try. Thank you Drybar!

Previous Review 1 star: My daughter scheduled a blowout for her graduation. Asked for some volume and a bit of large curl and it had already fallen out before she got home an hour later. Called and left a message asking someone to call me to see if we could reschedule or receive a discount. I’ve visited several Dry Bar locations from Houston, Southlake, and Vegas and this time was very disappointing. We expected more for the price.

Took my daughter in today and was a bit nervous as she has course textured hair, she left amazingly happy and feeling confident with her blow out and style. Merriam was her stylist and she made sure to ask questions and educate about products. The only downside, the girl working the front desk seemed a bit bored or tired or annoyed not quite sure the word but just not very welcoming for a first time guest, could just be a bad day for her. We will def be back despite that as everything else was amazing!

Today I got a blowout from Kyra. She was sweet, funny, knowledgeable, and super fast! <3

I’ve been going to this location for years and have seen a steady decline in the quality of service! Went in this morning and experienced THE WORST shampoo and blow out I have ever received! I’ve had my hair blown out literally all over the world. Stylists always comment on how well my hair blows out. I usually leave with shiny smooth tresses. NOT TODAY at Drybar in Plano! My hair was a frizzy and dull mess. I told the gal at the front desk that I was not satisfied with the result and she called someone else to “fix it”. So after much more heat on my hair and styling I left with a bit of shine because of the additional use of product and ALL the curl pulled out due to round two of heat and pulling on my hair. Left with no curl and a frizzy mess. Seriously could have done this at home. I called to main number - well the only number for Dallas DryBar because you can not reach the locations directly - and let them know about my experience today and how bad my hair looked! Thankfully they did refund my money, but I still had to attend an event tonight with bad hair. The reason I booked today was for this event. AND now I will need to go somewhere else for a deep conditioning treatment because of all the heat on my hair today and the frizz I am left with. No heat protection was applied to my hair.
I should have known when the person washing my hair never really touched my scalp that this was not going to be a good experience.
Sooooo again the DryBar at The Shops at Legacy continues to decline. And to top it off the receptionist seems put out to have to deal with customers. Not friendly at all.
So sadly after years of DryBar appointments and a Bar Fly membership, I am going to have to move on to another provider.

Took my wife here once and now her relationship with Liz seems to be stronger than her relationship with me, and we have been married for a long time. She said that the scalp massage she gets there is better than.well, as her husband I should be offended but she always comes home relaxed. While I think she is always beautiful, her confidence is boosted with each visit.what more can a husband ask for? Thanks DryBar!

I love dry bar. I have mixed curly natural hair and if you get an experienced stylist they do such a great job. I wish I could go every week.
Scalp massages are bomb if you get someone who does them really good. Most of the time they are not that great and you've wasted extra money.

First time at this location this past weekend. As someone with 3C curly hair that has gone over a year without heat styling - I was nervous for my first blowout in awhile. I had Kierra and I appreciated her asking for my preferences and giving me recommendations on how she would style my hair to keep soft curls I wanted intact longer. Left obsessed with my hair and the curls stayed in my hair longer than I expected. 10/10 experience!

Been coming to this location for years. My go to stylist moved on however another stylist has been able to provide me with awesome service for my multi ethnic hair! Zasmeen is professional and has a positive energy! So happy she is available on my day off to make sure my long curly hair is manageable and styled beautifully!

A sad day when a business kicks a customer to the curb for no apparent reason. I hope you go out of business soon! Peace!
