Drybar - Rice Village, Houston TX

Poor service and experience all around. I walked in and the receptionist informed me they were running 10-15 minutes late. It turned out to be thirty! The stylists was very friendly but hasn’t received proper training. My hair felt stiff as if it had too much product. I told the stylist I wanted my hair very straight and when she was done, my hair had a lot of volume and the ends looked super dry. I asked her to please do something about it and she tried by sealing it with a flat iron. I asked to talk to the manager who also used the flat iron but it didn’t make a difference. Overall the stylist was friendly and trying her best but she needs appropriate training and the manager who was also friendly could have at least been apologetic for the long wait and the poor results. If she wanted my future business she should’ve offered at least half-off of my next service and asked me to please give them another shot. I felt I wasted my money and my time. Very disappointing.

We went for a Christmas blowout for my daughter. She was looking forward to it. We come every year for Christmas it is a gift she asks for. Her hair looked fuzzy when we left and they just put hairspray on it. About 30 minutes later her hair looked like she put her finger in a light socket. I called to see if they could do something and was basically told too bad. So I get to go home after spending over $100 and wash and redo her hair. She is bummed that her Christmas gift was a waste and now wishes she had asked for something else because she looks terrible. Lesson learned.

This place is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! The prices are affordable, and the quality of service is excellent for a weekend hair. Muskaan did a good job. What I really liked was that she didn't overheat my hair, the heat was perfect, and my hair felt fresh. Thanks!

I had an amazing experience at Drybar in Rice Village Houston! My blowout was perfect, quick and lasted all week while I was in town for a work convention. I literally came straight from the airport and it was just what I needed! I loved my stylist and wish I could take her back to NY with me. She was the sweetest and so great to talk to. Thank you!

I feel so rude because I did not catch my stylists name, (she had yellow hair from ft worth) but she was simple amazing! She did my hair in the style of “old fashion” and I felt beautiful and classy. I loved everything about the experience and will be back!

Everyone is soooo nice and accommodating. I had a horrible experience at the Blo bar down the street and called here soo upset. They fit me in, gave me champagne, and did my hair great! I'm sooo happy I found them.

Audie took my phonecall to book my appointment. Alana greeted me at the door with a smile & Monica was my hairstylist who gave me exacted what I wanted. All amazing! I have been to other locations prior and this will be my blowout salon going forward. Best customer service. I love their products

First time ever trying out DryBar and I loved it. I offered to be a model so I got the blow out for free, however originally it's only $55 which isn't bad compared to other places. The staff is friendly and the stylists are great! The salon was clean and I only waited 10 minutes and was out within an hour. 5/5 I'd recommend.

Clean, beautiful location with great staff. I went to this DryBar location two days in a row and had a good experience both times. I got my hair done for a concert and the DryBar difference is my hair continued to look amazing hours after. Even when the curls started to fall my hair STILL looked good. I recommend bringing in a reference photo for the look you want. I brought in photos and they were able to recreate the looks. Really helps ensure you get what you want and prompts the stylist to ask even more questions.

I love this place. They always start on time and finish on time and I have never had a blowout that I did not like. I think the yellow and the bright decor makes it feel very happy. I would love it however, if they had quiet hours (in the morning?) when you could get a blow dry or any service for that matter, without loud music playing on top of the tv and driers. Usually when I do something "extra" like this it's because I am tired and I would prefer it to be quiet but I could also wear earphones!:)

I absolutely LOVE this salon. I had the best experience here. It is clean, beautiful and the staff is amazing. I tend to be picky when it comes to hair salons and I can't recommend this place enough. The staff is prompt and efficient and my hair always looks amazing! Jamie always does my hair and she is so professional and so kind. She does the best job!

Camille did a great job on my hair! She made sure I was happy with my hair before I left and was kind enough to go back and fix a little piece in the front I didn’t like at first. Would def come back for another blowout

I booked a blowout and showed the stylist photos of large curls and volume at the crown. The stylist looked once and didn’t ask any questions. She never checked in to explain anything she was doing and never asked if I liked the curls/styling. I left with massive amounts of volume in the back, some curls in the back, and no styling the front. I ended up having to fix it myself later. Everyone at the Dry Bar was so nice and it was very clean/efficient, I just don’t think I’d ever pay that much again. Disappointing.

I love drybar and this location is top notch. I have a full head of hair and Laramie did a phenomenal job with the Mai Tai style. I got compliments everywhere I went and it held up for several days. Highly recommend this location and Laramie.

This was the biggest waste of money. My daughter and 2 grandaughters and I were there on Saturday. The granddaughters and my daughter had curls that went straight in an hour. My hair had no body and I had to come home and fix it myself. We had a nice party for my husbands birthday and it cost us over $300 for nothing.
