My husband and I LOVE this community. Solid teaching. Deep engaging worship. Wonderful people that just want the MORE of Jesus. So grateful to have found a church that just points to Jesus and is not into the performance and perfection of a service. But truly desires to draw people to a more intimate relationship with Holy Spirit.

The pastor said we need to be baptized in the spirit of bartimaeus then proceeded to say we need the spirit of bartimaeus in us then after that he said he feels the spirit of bartimaeus growing inside us. This is false teaching and blasphemy. However when I confronted him and his wife very kindly about it they refused to admit it was wrong and the wife started getting incredibly defensive and told me I have no place to criticize. It’s unfortunate because I wasn’t trying to rude or mean about it, I was only standing up for the truth. I don’t recommend this church to anyone who wants to learn about the true teachings of Jesus Christ.

Ok. I would like to leave a review on the woman who left a negative review about the Pastor and his “rude” wife. Little darlin’ you are about as deep as a toilet bowl, you completely missed the point of the message. I watched the whole thing! He Never said he baptized in anything.he simply said God give us the spirit of Bartimaeus! Meaning. God make us as desperate in our “blindness” to cry out to Jesus! Clearly you too are blind and your critical spirit has deafened you to hear the real message.peace out

An incredible church with Pastors and a congregation on fire for the Lord! And especially loved the message from this past Sunday, on how we as Christians should look to Bartimaeus’s spirit - his willingness to do whatever he had to in order to get closer to Jesus - to see how we ourselves should follow after Him, as well.

Love this church that is on fire for the Lord & led by none but Holy Spirit. Thank you for always hosting the presence of God and bringing heaven down to earth!

If you live in the area or just visiting, coming to Dwell Church is a MUST.

My family and I absolutely love this church and the spirit lead leaders we are surrounded by. Pastors David and Nicole are the real deal and have forever impacted our lives. If you are looking for a place to call home, Dwell is that place. ️

I went to Dwell for the first time, and I heard the pastor say that we should be baptized in the spirit of bartimeaus. I was shocked and thought maybe he meant something else, but the pastor proceeded to continue talking about increasing the spirit of bartimeaus. I went back to the YouTube live stream on the sermon and sure enough I heard right.

The only spirit we should be baptized in is the holy spirit. My husband even went up to the pastor to tell him kindly that it was wrong doctrine, and the pastors wife was rude and told him that my husband is not in the position to say what is right and wrong. -the Bible is the truth and we stick to the bible and it obviously does say to be baptized in the spirit of bartimeaus.

Ask Jesus for the spirit of truth and discernment before entering any church.

After the service I saw The pastors wife being mean to this gentleman who was talking to the pastor. There's a YouTube video on dwell church and what the pastor said was totally wrong. The pastor said, "we should all be baptized in the spirit of bartimeaus". It's literally recorded on the live stream and the YouTube video about this church.

There's no harm in saying your wrong in teaching, people make mistakes. You don't have to be mean to people who stand up for the gospel of truth.

I don't recommend this church. Watch the YouTube video on this church before going.
