East Fork Park reviews
12We go every time with pleasure. There is a small entrance area to the lake, there is a toilet and picnic areas.
Wonderful place, extremely good pricing for primitive tent camping. The people there are extremely helpful, even late at night if needed. Which I did, and you should know this in advance. They shut AND lock the gate at a certain time, I believe it was 10pm, please check with them on that. If you leave and come back after that time, you will have to either walk back to camp or get lucky like me and see the gentleman who runs the place, just by chance coming out of his camper. Which is located directly by the gate. He was incredibly helpful and I give him many thanks!
Enjoyed the last weekend at east fork wiley. Weather was humid but we dealt with that. We got spot 9 and 11 but 43 and 47 were really good spots. My friend got bug bite too but overall a very nice experience.
Very nice and beautiful area also very calm and relaxing place and very quite as well and the people that work there are all amazing and wonderful people.and we'll be telling more family and friends about this place.
This was a lovely site for Spring camping. Dog friendly, plenty of space, and lots of nature to enjoy and explore. The restroom was ancient but clean, so if you're into car camping you'll have running water. There wasn't a deep sink for washing dishes, so pack with that in mind. Overall, great experience.
They finally fixed the park road entrance and park circle with fresh asphalt and it makes it so much nicer and safer for RVers to drive on. Love the big rv spaces
Beautiful COE campground, nice spacious sites, close to coty attractions & groceries/ laundromat etc.
It is a beautiful park but there's NO WIFI and NO SEWER hookups. For a Cor of Engineers park, I was quite disappointed. It's $30 a day and no weekly or monthly rates. The bathhouse was okay but not very clean. Sites are very roomy with a covered pick- nick table and fire pits. It's on the lake and does offer fishing but not sure what's being caught.
This is an awesome place to get get some peace and quiet. Very relaxing and has all the accommodations for an RV and a tent set up. Water hook up at every campground. Has bathrooms, showers and grills all around. Also very clean and well kept up. The people who work there are some of the kindest and most genuine people I've ever met. They were all on point at every turn to help your stay feel great. They truly cared for your well being and were very humble. Always made you feel like you were at home. Definitely a place to check out and go to even if its only for the day.
One of the better National Campgrounds I’ve been to recently. Showers actually get hot, the place is relatively clean, new paved roads. Only complaint is when it rains, the sites flood really bad and get super muddy.
Park needs work. The RV pads need repaving, and many of the spots are missing the outdoor grills. It is a popular park that doesn't get much attention from the Corps of Engineers.
Camping spaces are quite large. Each site has a cement table on a slab with a roof over it. Bathhouse has large single bathrooms with showers.
