East Texas Burger Co, Mineola TX

Was okay. Ordered something That wasn’t avail to me but was available to someone else that came in right after me so that kinda sucked. But it wasn’t terrible, hard to eat but it tasted okay.

Food was tasty. Atmosphere and cuisine were true to it's setting - down home. An enjoyable experience.

Burger was mediocre at best my egg I got on it was under cooked. All the seasoning for my waffle fry were on 2 fries. Pretty disappointing service only got one refill the whole meal.

You no longer order at the cash register you sit down order off the menu. I like this away better. The burgers are always juicy I like their fish.

Burger was cooked fresh and served hot. Friendly service. Curly fries were so-so - I'd try sweet potato fries next time - and they were almost out of dessert at 5: 30pm. My only real complaint was that I had to use napkins to handle the ketchup bottle on the table, it was so messy. But I would definitely go back for the great burger and cool atmosphere. There's also a gift and coffee shop adjacent, but it was already closed for the day. Best to visit the town during midday or on weekend.

Burgers are huge and includes fries with their "burger basket" for $8.99. Choice of different cut fries. Service was excellent but a little slow but understandable around lunchtime.
I will definitely go back even though meat was a little dry and unseasoned for my taste. I needed to add salt.
Steak sandwich is also huge and very good.

Great burger place, service was slightly lacking as everyone seemed to be put out to even be there. Little bit of a let down considering the raves I've heard about the service.

Very cute atmosphere with southern hospitality. Restaurant was very, very busy, service was slow but acceptable. Food was terrific. We definitely be back.

This place has been here since 1984 (I was 13). This is one of those places with lots of character. Probably because it's been here so long. That Old Fashioned Burger Basket, it's as good as they say it is. Hand cut fries! Never frozen! If you're looking for sweet tea this is also the place for that. Real southern sweet tea for sure! That brings me to the pie. I asked her if they made it and she said they did. Now folks, you can lie about homemade pie all you want but you'll get found out about on that. In other words, people who know homemade pie when they eat it will know the difference. With that said, that coconut cream pie was thick! The crust was not perfectly uniform and that meringue was crunchy because of the sugar in it. It was no amateur, that was a professional done job. In other words, somebody in that kitchen knows what they're doing. I say all that just to say this, just come on. It's dang good. (And by the way, that was the cleanest bathroom I have ever been into. Just saying.)

Is it the best burger? No

Is it a good burger? Yes

Will I come back? Perhaps so, to give the place another chance to get 5 stars.

This is not a chain restaurant, so it has that going for it. But going on a Sunday, maybe they did not have the staff they would on perhaps a Saturday. The service was a bit slow, but yes it was full.

The servers were not attentive other than when you say down and then come back to take order. Our orders were given to us and someone only came back to give us our ticket.

The place was very busy, but the burgers and fries were to die for, will return when I'm in East Texas!

Pretty good! Not a lot of seasoning on the burger but would go back! Great fries and super friendly staff!
