My daughter has been immobilized due to a severe ankle sprain since September and had her initial evaluation with Kyle. He was great and we were excited to work with him and his team. We hoped to begin PT during Christmas break.
However, we were told we were unable to be scheduled until my insurance did their part. After several days of phone calls and research, I spoke with the office manager Tonya and offered her a phone number that my insurance had provided to get everything completed that same day. She refused to take the number and stated that they had already done what they were going to do. I double checked with insurance and PCP, and both agreed that we were waiting on ETTC. But she refused to consider that they might need to do something else.
I would have loved to work with Kyle’s PT team. But Tonya made that impossible. We are finally set up with a new PT and getting treatment after wasting three weeks of Christmas break. And my teenage athlete daughter is still going to school on a knee scooter.
