This place is fabulous. The food is terrific and the ice cream is the best. A great place to stop when passing through!
Well that will do just fine. Really charming little place with a very laid back vibe. Had the chicken salad with pasta side. And it was terrific. I really wanted to stay the night there, maybe next time.
Smoked chicken sandwich was wonderful! My wife had the turkey melt and you can’t go wrong with it either! Very clean, friendly!
Best Sandwiches in Hico. Everything on the menu is fantastic. Worth trying at least once if you get the chance!
Delicious & Fresh Food! Great little road trip lunch stop when rolling though Hico with 2 clean bathrooms
Was passing through Hico on the way back to DFW, stopped to get a sandwich for lunch. The service was quick and friendly, and the sandwich was delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through looking to grab a quick yet very good meal
We love this place so much and stop in every time we’re traveling between San Antonio and Dallas! Great food, delicious treats, and super friendly people. Always our one stop along the way.
Sooo high priced. Great food. Very delicious. Very very friendly staff. Always. Fabulous direction of wines and cocktails. Waaayyy too high priced. Over $53 for 2 sandwiches on regular toasted bread with one glass of wine. Chips as a side to the order. Whuutt? ! Crazy.
They have gluten free bread! When I told them I have a good allergy, the two ladies working cleaned everything thoroughly to prevent cross contamination. The sandwich tasted great and the service was excellent. My husband really enjoyed the homemade pickles as well. Thank you!
Great spot! Our family hits this place every time we drive from Dallas to Austin/San Antonio. Highly recommend!
Great relaxing place to stop if you're traveling down 281. Try the BBQ chicken salad sandwich.one of the finest!
Nice service, great food, neat offerings, awesome renovation of an old space! Can’t wait to get back that direction and try it again!
The staff were really friendly people. The ice cream was delicious and the environment was great. There was plenty of space inside for our group of 12 and it was clean and well lit with large windows. It made you feel like you were in a bright, fun space having great food with family. They even make an "ice cream sandwich" with fresh baked cookies and hand dipped ice cream. There were over a dozen flavors to choose from and several different toppings available so everyone found something they liked.
Everything was delicious. The smoked chicken salad sandwich was amazing. Make sure you try the potato salad.
We recently had Eis cater a party and couldn't have been happier with the food and service. The delicious sliders, mouthwatering potato salad, homemade pickles and flavourful extra crunchy chips made for a perfect party buffet. I highly recommend this charming sandwich shop and bar in Hico. You'll want to stop by on every trip.
This is a nice little gem of a cafe! The employees were super friendly, the food was really delicious. We tried the turkey sandwich. I almost went back and got another one - yes that good! I did buy a pint of the pickles, made in Austin. We did not try the ice cream but it looked so delicious! We will be back, can’t wait to see what the expansion looks like!
