EKKO's Greek American Deli reviews
33 Don't be fooled by the LOCATION of this tastey Greek Sandwich Shop. Food is very good.
Staff is friendly.
French fries were a little soggy, but still good as long as you eat them hot.
Parking could be difficult at times.
When i first walked in, i thought I took a step back in time to the late 50's or early 60's. The Sandwich Shop is inside a Gas Station. Seemed to ve clean. A few tables inside to eat at.
All in all a good place to try. Prices are competitive and servings are healthy.
All food is served in to go boxes.
I have been coming to this store for 4 years and the customer service here has always been amazing. Ali works there and he is amazing with helping me out. I have recommended this store to many friends and would recommend it to anyone to come and see ali. He is also special in giving good vape flavors.
Always thumbed my nose at eateries inside gas stations but this place is a quite decent. Was curious about it while filling up on gas, checked reviews and gave it a shot. Went with the gyro plate which provided plenty of food and two packets of tzatziki. Eskasa.
Great food and the people are super friendly. I recommend the burger and fries and a bang energy drink after a long day at work.
Rude and poor customer service! Seems that they don’t like to talk or appreciate your business at all! Food is good!
Was in & out in 5 minutes! The food was fresh, ~$6 gets you a gyro, fries, and a drink! Throw the fries in the gyro and it’ll feel like you’re actually in Greece! Worth a try!
Solid Hole in the Wall. The food is delicious and the service is so friendly! The prices are affordable with the speed between your order being placed and the food being ready is on average under 5 minutes. Even though it is inside a gas station, they have plenty of seating, a bathroom, in a comfortable casual environment. While this is not a high-end restaurant, they nail being a hole in the wall restaurant with affordable prices, quick service, and delicious food. So many people have recommended this place from all over town and I see why. They are open a little later than you would expect (9: 15 p.m. On average) and can prepare your food in advance if you call. As of April 2021, I was told by one of the employees that this establishment is now 16 years old, which shows as they really have everything figured out.
Greek food and the atmosphere at this place is great. I love it here. Had a friend come into town and she asked me to take her here again.
My favorite location for quality Greek food.two thumbs up for this place.i had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here.this place has good reviews for a reason.
Outstanding location for Greek food. Visited on Sat I believe. The service was friendly and observant.
This is one of the best places to get falafel sandwiches and baklava's. I've tried "better" places and honestly this was definitely better. It's like a whole in the wall place. Sandwiches also come with french fries and are also amazing! They have a lot of options i just always get the same thing.
Always 5 star quality
I've been coming here for 20+years and have never been disappointed. Large portions and quality eats. No matter where you go the meat is usually going to be the same, only a few distributes are going to supply the lamb/beef swarma meat. What sets anyone apart is going to be the freshness and the Tzatziki sauce. This place always has the best. The portions seemed smaller than I remember but still more than average.
Finally found the BEST gyro in Houston! I'm originally from Pittsburgh where you can get gyros all over town. I was quite disappointed in the gyro selections available in Houston. Some don't even use pitas but rather use a bread. They are small too and use a blend of beef and lamb. This place has gyros that remind me of Pittsburgh, they are lamb only and huge wrapped in a toasted pita. Love the steak fries too! This should be a separate restaurant instead of a gas station.
I have eat this place for many years, always in constant taste. Excellent. Good Price in this location!
I probably come here atleast 3 times a day. Ali is 100% customer service. Amazing guy.
Place is always clean and a perfect one stop shop.
Everyone at our table was enjoying everything. Service is consistently great. This place has a great atmosphere. My apartment is far from here, so I can't visit often.
Never had Greek went for hot dogs the first few times great hot dogs, the fourth time guy misunderstood me gave me a gyro been going almost everyday. So yeah I recommend you go thru there and try something.
Great for getting a quick bite to eat whether you eat there or just get your food to go. Super friendly staff and although it seems like a deli in a gas station which I guess it is, but the food is great. If you haven't had a Gyro before.this is a great place to have your first one!
Had a 30 minute lunch break. Absolutely awesome. I’ll be back soon. Gyro sandwich is my favorite.
You may be second guessing yourself when you pull up because it's a gas station, but the gyro's are great! $8.65 for a big gyro, fries and a drink is a great deal.
