The atmosphere is comparable to eating at eating Grandma's house!
The food is on point! I would have to say they serve high-quality, authentic Mexican food in the area!
The Birria tacos is the best dish, in my opinion!

You won't be disappointed!

It's small but the food and service is great! The food is cooked fresh as soon as the order is placed and not something from a can of frozen. I would recommend this place for those who are looking for great tasting Mexican food.

Great food with big portions and friendly servers. I had the tripa plate, which I barely finished. Will be back again

Very good barbacoa by the pound it was 14 a pound and came with flour tortillas and red and green salsa the barbacoa is not greasy and fatty is perfect it just lacks a little more flavor to be perfect

This place has grown on me. The ladies here are ALWAYS super friendly, and the food comes out quick. Everything I've had (mostly breakfast) has been good. I have a favorite taco place, but this one has become my 2nd favorite and is also open on Monday!

Was driving to San Marcos and decided to pick a local restraunt where we were driving. This place didn't disappoint. Really good food all the eay around, had the puffy tacos kind of like a gordita just everything on the outside. My husband had pastor tacos he liked them and my children had the enchilada and chicken strips. All ate it all and had good things to say.

I visit this place every time I’m in the area.it always packed and you will always have to wait for a seat but is most definitely worth the wait. When you think of authentic Mexican food this place comes to mind.it’s not a fancy place really a hole in the wall place. Service is great food is even better. I always have a small menudo and this time around had there barrila tacos as well! Omg I wanted to get another order to go for later.never fails me! I love this place

A really awesome place to get Mexican food. Service was excellent and the food was delicious with generous portions. I ordered three tacos and could've done with just two, but I was happy to have the extra cause it was so good! Priced extremely reasonably as well.

Tiny little place with a lot of heart! It's a little tight as far as the seating goes but the food is delicious! Everything was hot and fresh. They have lots of choices. Everyone at our table went home full and happy.

What can I say this is my #1 place to eat from the Menudo to their Barbacoa.
Now if you'd like something different try their Charro Tacos if I'm not mistaken that's the name of the tacos love those on their homemade corn tortillas.

I love this place! The staff are wonderful hardworking people. Authentic and TASTY TexMex food in a nice funky building.

Exceptional Mexican food and excellent customer service. Food was delicious and the restaurant was very clean inside.

The restaurant is not very big, and doesn't look like much, and if your not looking for it specifically, you will miss it. The food is great, but there were 7 of us in our group and it took awhile for all the food to be served. The music they had on was a little too loud, so it was hard to carry on a conversation.

The food is very delicious and the price is very reasonable, the waitress is super friendly. I ordered Menudo and it was delicious.

I’ve lived here most of my life yet it was the first time I’ve tried this place. My husband and I came for lunch and we both had beef enchiladas. The enchiladas and sauce were some of the best, if not THE best I’ve ever had. The rice was easily top 10 I’ve ever had, lots of flavor and not bland at all. The refried beans were average. All the waitstaff were pleasant and attentive. I know food and service can be hit and miss anywhere, but I’m definitely going to rerun soon and see if round two is as good as our first try.
