12May or may not have been an off day for the cook. Ordered a chilaquiles taco and the egg was still gooey. Also Ordered a country and egg taco and didn't like the egg either. They do not whisk or beat the egg before cooking it. So my eggs where patchy, white and yellow. The flour tortillas are pretty good, well cooked.
Food is always delicious they already know me and what I get every time I go in everyone is always smiling
Shout out to all my co workers from Steve's and Sons working hard day in and day out. When your in a rush and coming down New Laredo Hwy. To work, to make that attendance bonus, lol don't forget to slow down and try some delicious Carne Guisada with cheese. My Fave. Big tacos packed with flavor. Plus they have a lot of specials everyday. You earned it!

The customer service is awesome as well as the food! Especially the crispy tripas tacos oh my gawd!
Update - The food here is delicious. Still. Yes different owners but still hospitable and prompt. Somethings need improvement but nothing major. High potential to be a regular spot

Absolutely horrible service! You can actually see the waitresses and cooks horsing around and cracking jokes while you stand there waiting to get serviced! Then they just walk by you with no acknowledgment to you about your order or no consideration for how long you have been waiting. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY TYPE OF SCHEDULE TO KEEP! WORST SERVICE IVE EVER RECEIVED!
The staff is small but what else do you want from a family run establishment. The husband is the cook and the wife takes care of the front. The food is always good and the service is excellent. A must try.

New mangement running the restaurant. Ordered some tripas, barbacoa taco. Both tacos we're very good. Tried the red salsa man it was hot and flavorful. Flour tortillas we're fresh. Awesome service and friendly staff. Da le la vuelta San Quilmas.
