Best place to eat in San Angelo, the food is amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful

I haven't lived in San Angelo Tx since 2003, every time I come back home I come to eat here at El Paisano restaurant good home cooking food, great service, great atmosphere, I love coming back to visit and eat.

Food was fantastic and fast. Very good steak cooked to request. Only critique is that it's a crowded one room setup, can be hard to hear over the chatter.

From the reviews given i would of thought this place would of matched its stars given.coming from out of town for this girl to tell me I don't have to place an order if I don't like her attitude.after she was rude and she hung up the phone on me. I know some top High end attorneys. A simple meal caused a bitter. To the owner.might want to rethink her being in management. SMH.

Even on a busy Sunday with a 20 min wait to get in, the food is great and worth any wait. I recommend the Steak Ranchero. My wife recommends El Paisano, also a steak dish.

Great food. Place was packed on a Tuesday before noon. Must add that they don't open according to their schedule. Went twice after scheduled opening times and they weren't open which is why I downgraded their rating and I may never go again.

I've been to this place a couple of times, and the food was good for the most part. This time around, the steak bits were overly seasoned, very salty to the taste. I will give them another try, though, if I'm ever in town again.

We had lunch at Paisano's last Friday, July 8. The place was packed and it looked like everyone was having a good time. The service was excellent and very friendly. But when we tasted the hot sauce, we thought that maybe the kitchen had an accident with the salt shaker-it was not edible due to the excessive salt. Then our food was the same! It would have been good, I guess, except for so much salt that we couldn't eat it. Is it always like this or was the prep cook having a bad day?

THE BEST place in San Angelo for Mexican Food. Fast, delicious, and family friendly atmosphere. I've not once had anything but an awesome experience. Try the steak, the burgers, the Chile rellano, tapatios, enchiladas, and hot sauce!

Medium Steak bits. Best plate of food in San Angelo. UPDATE 6/18/2023: I've eaten many dishes in many places from many different cultures. The steak bits here are in the top 3 dishes I've ever eaten

Small beans and salsa plate, plus their delicious and medium spicy salsa when you sit down. Excellent service! This place gets BUSY!

Rolling through San Angelo late sunday morning on the way to San Antonio and decided to stop for some good mexican. Most restaurants were empty except this one and for good reason! Restaurant was packed but I was floored with how fast our good came out and it was piping hot. I got to taste a bit of everything off of everyone else's plate and it would seem you can't go wrong with whatever you choose here. Steak bits were my absolute favorite, their beans for the tortilla chips had something mixed in that took it to another level. I would recommend this restaurant several times over. Must east place on my list if ever I'm in town.

This is a whole in the wall place but the best place for KC in San Angelo. This is a open, cheap table and chairs, family atmosphere. I LOVE it. Every thing I have gotten is amazing but the KC is mind blowing! Service is always on point, waitresses are so nice.
