El Palmarcito Restaurant reviews
16 Love this place it's clean,
Great food great service and good prices I come once a week. Tuesday $1 pupusa
I love the pupusas! Basically, that's all I have ordered, and usually, it's to go. The service is great and prices are super reasonable. Next time I will try something from the menu. I've seen the plates and look delicious too.
One places the order for the time we are going to have the food, we arrive at the remaining time and it turns out that they do not have the order ready and they are barely making the order! If one orders, it is to go get it, I only have 30 minutes for lunch and it literally takes 25 minutes to make the food! The 2 times I ordered they did that to me! And both times I didn't eat! Very irresponsible!
Unpretentious little spot, within walking distance of Hyatt Regency hotel. We read the good reviews and went there for lunch. Delicious pupusas! Went back for dinner with a party of 8! Everyone was happy with their food!
It takes a little bit longer to get your food, because they are actually cooking for you!
Food was awesome, service was great and the price was the best. Recommend eating here when you are out that way for lunch.
Outstanding food and service. Showed up at 30 minutes to close, due to traffic and 40 mile drive. Yes, foods that good to drive that far.
Tasty Salvadoran dishes, I recommend them (delicious Salvadoran food, definitely recommend and will come back soon) we will return soon.
The food was pretty good. I especially enjoyed the pupusas de chicharrón with some salsa. We also tried the pastelitos and they were great with the fresh salad they had. I thought the salad from the pastelitos was better than the curtido. The tables were sticky. And it honestly took way too long to get our food. Food was great but I wouldn’t go back unless I ordered the food ahead of time.
The food is very delicious. They just take a long time but it's worth the wait. It's good
This food is very bad. We ate here and it was the worst decision. The food was cold and the cheese on the popusas was green.
Bad service, they give you bad cold food, we went to eat at this restaurant with high expectations but we were very bad with the service, the waitresses were very inattentive, the food was slow and cold and if that wasn't enough, I ordered a chicken tamale and it even came with hair included separately. I had to put my dishes aside because they don't bother to serve you. We all pay for good service and it seems wrong to go to a restaurant to feel human warmth and for me it is not worth it. I do not recommend it and we will never return. I hope owner of this sad place, look at my comment because I am disappointed they leave the name of El Salvador very badly because they are of no use
Wonderful food, the service was attentive and fast. The only thing I would change is add iced tea options. I enjoyed the horchata though.
The food is very delicious, and Miss Isabel, the one who works at night, the waitress, is very friendly.
For my part I recommend them to you.
El Palmarcito was a great find! It’s a small place that makes everything themselves. They have a great selection of Mexican and Salvadorian dishes. Everything I had was fresh and tasted excellent! I had the Salvadorian combo plate and an extra Papusa. The Loroco and cheese and pork and cheese Papusas were some of the best I’ve had. The fried plantains, tamale, and fried pork completed the dish. To top it off, everything was so reasonably priced. Next time I’m in Houston I’ll definitely be back. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!
As soon as you enter, the place is uninviting, staff rude, not know to serve correctly they go over you to place food on table, Food over cooked, they have margaritas on their menu we order one it was supposed to be mango.fit tasted nasty.we couldn't figure out that they used to make this green salty thing. Over price for what they have to offer.
