El Paso Star Ready-Mix

Unfortunately, this company is the worst one for concrete here in El Paso. The cement usually arrives HOURS LATE. I mean, literally, almost always. The quality of concrete mix is just as bad as their service. You'll find big rocks in a "fine" mix. Or it comes too wet and watery. Or you pay for fibers and don't see it mixed in. OH and worst yet, they have a bad habit of shorting the customer. 50 yards should be 5 trucks but I guarantee you'll need 6. SO, if you choose them bc they're the cheapest then so be it, but be prepared to get THE CHEAPEST.

PS - the women that run the office aren't to blame. They handle calls, appointments and complaints well.

Never using them again! They told me they would arrive between the times of 12 and 1, got here an hour late. And still tell me that if they pass the hour they will charge me more. Im asking if they could stay an additional 15min since they were late and didn't communicate with me but simple answer was no
Very poor service. Never using them again and definitely not recommending them to anyone.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! We ordered 36 yards of cement 3000 with fiber but instead we got a really poor mix with no fiber whatsoever and once it dried out it cracked really bad. We call the company and requested to have somebody coming down and see the mess and he agreed that the material was bad and that the company should do something about it but now they're refusing to assume responsibility.

The worst cement company in El Paso! Don’t order from them, they will only take your money and provide less product than what you order. We ordered 5 yards of cement, and paid for the 5 yards and they only delivered 3 yards. We had to order 1.5 yards extra, to finish our job. I spoke directly to the owner, Jose Garcías, hoping he would fix things. Sadly, not even the owner was professional and responsible to back up his business. He said that if he reimbursed my money, that he would be the one to lose! In other words, the buyer will only be at a loss, not him. I Hope everyone will consider this review before calling his company.

Worst concrete plant u can get cement from very unperfesional liars 4 hr late don’t recommend them

Shorted cement and still charged extra for what they didn’t bring in the first place. Sent a field supervisor and apparently the owner was on its way to check measurements himself but never even showed. 40+ years in cement. Also I even ordered a yard and a half extra, as I always do.

Made an order for Saturday at 2 call them at 2: 30 3: 00
3: 30 finally some one answer the mechanic he said everyone left already the worst company waste of time and money

Not organized and bad cammunication. Ordered with fyber and when arrived Cement had no fyber, according to them they ran out. Oh and over an hour late.

Gravel flying off rear of truck while speeding along l-10. Broken windshield, not a safe operation.

We used them when we did our pool and they were great. Delivered as they said they would with increments we requested. Prices were very fair as well.
