El Patron Tacos Y Tortas, Fort Worth TX

I had a tripa, barbacoa, trompo and asada tacos. The Tripa was super crispy, so much that you couldn't taste it was tripas. The barbacoa was ok but still fatty, needed more flavor, but the asada/beef was very low quality beef.very fatty and tough. It was chopped it in a way rhat it looked like ground beef. I am only giving this place a 3 because the trompo was the only thing decent. It needed more flavor than the rub they use for the meat. I had to put salt on everything

I do NOT recommend anyone eating here. We would eat here before but I think they changed food cook because the food was not good at all. The food is very pricey, regret eating here. I ordered trompo gringa (al pastor) & it did not look or taste like a gringa. The asada meat on the tacos was also very dry. The lady in the front taking your order has a very bad attitude as well. Save your money & eat mexican food elsewhere.

First timer for this lil spot. My Breakfast burrito was really seasoned with greatness (that first bit was everything) The red nd green sauce nice smooth and spiced to perfection. Bravo!

1st time trying this place. Save your time and money. The food was not as pictured, the torta was soggy full of lettuce hardly any meat. The vapor tacos were disgusting, soggy and greasy not even worth the wait.

The tacos are pretty good, service is awful and if you order a lot of food, only expect 2 hot sauces for the whole meal. There is way better places to go with better service.

I ordered the Barbacoa taco plate and it did not disappoint. Serving sizes are good and all of the food was delicious. Thanks guys!

I have eaten El Patron (probably) 30+ times and have never been disappointed. I crave La Gringa on a regular basis.

The food was amazing, reminded me of awesome mexican food in Tucson. Will be going back to try more of the meats and meals

Talk about greasy, old meat no flavor at all tacos! Ohh and don’t forget about the dripping grease from each taco!

The Piratita taco plate was excellent! Great barbacoa! Excellent tortas! Great prices! Highly recommend it!

Expensive place! (The tortas) and fountain drink come with bleach taste!

For a restaurant that is next to a gas station, the food was good. I had a torta with trompo (meat can be pork, beef or lamb, it was pork) meat, all the right ingredients, avocado, lettuce, tomato, cheese and a good portion of meat. I also sampled some tacos de canasta! (These are tacos made from the stews or dishes available that day. I really enjoyed them; it could have been the longing of the dish. But a good place to stop if you are driving by.
