El Pollo Loco, Houston TX

Yesterday we went to the store 8473 Highway 6, we bought half a chicken to go, and it had to be the very worst dry burnt chicken and it seems they gave us something that had been there all day long (DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION ITS THE WORST PLACE EVER.)

I’ll keep it short. I gave two stars because the staff are always polite. However, the chicken is not fully cooked at least 2 out of 5 visits. This is there staple, so I’m confused as to how this happens continuously. Shame on me for continuing to return. Won’t happen again.

My half of a chicken breast and plastic bag broccoli was not appetizing and my son didn’t get his quesadilla box just a quesadilla and asked for no avocado on his burrito and it was on it. Just a horrible mess and not very good attitudes from the workers today. Sorry to leave a bad review but I’m afraid if I called this in it would be a joke to them

TODAY VISIT EL POLLO LOCO RESTAURANT ON 6TH STREET IN HOUSTON. THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE AND SUPER DRY, THERE WAS NO SODA IN THE SODA MACHINE AND THEY DIDN'T REPORT IT BEFORE CHARGING ME, SOME TABLES WERE NOT CLEAN. THE EMPLOYEE WHO TREATED ME WAS NOT THE BEST. I INVITE YOU NOT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY BY EATING THIS OVERCOOKED MEAL THERE.

Takes 15 mins to drive there, been there way too many times and their chips are burnt up every time.im done hoping so I won't be returning.

I ordered the chicken tacos through the drive thru. They were yummy! They even gave me extra salsa!

I wish there was an El Pollo Loco here in Harker Heights, TX. We have to drive the 2 1/2 hours to Cypress, TX and we always make it a point to stop and pick up food to bring back home

Happy to see new keto tacos. Wish they were gluten free though. Need to up their lettuce have. Weak shredded iceberg is just nasty.

This location had problems with start up, but they are behind. The food quality is excellent (the street tacos are really good). The salads are always good. Ask for the green sauce that is not the normal one they give out. It comes on one of the other chicken dishes.

Inexpensive, good tasting food. It's not a heavy meal, we try and eat here when we want to eat light but get full as well

Chiken is good. Sides and other items are a little over rated. Take pollo loco over any fast food burger

Wow the food here is good. It is a little pricy but it is well worth your money the tacos are really good and there chicken is delicious as well. Great place to hangout with your friends and as well with your family. Taking someone on a date well my opinion of course take the food to go and go somewhere else but you can also eat inside too. It's not a bad place to go on a date.

Pollo Loco is now one of our favorites. Wifey likes the healthier grilled chicken vs.the fried chicken at the other fast food places. This location is easy to see on Hwy 6, easy in and out with lots of parking available on-site.

For fast food this place is great. They have good options if you are counting calories. They are clean and affordable.

My first time here and it was pleasantly surprised. Chicken was tasty and juicy. Salad they served with family meal was really good as well.

Has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. Enjoy it even more as an adult. Glad yall came to Houston. I'm moving and hope to see you in Dallas one day!

6/13/18 4pm and there is NO CHICKEN! And then they say it will be about 20 to 25 minutes before they have any chicken. How STUPID is that? This is the one on West Rd And Hwy 6.

We love the chicken, and the delicious sides to choose. Is a very friendly restaurant. They offer many option to have chicken, with bowl, salads, burritos and more. You can take a family meal or an individual dish.

The chicken is probaly hands down the best in houston as far as tex mex grilled. They seasoned and well cook it. The mashed potatoe and macaroni is a must try. My old lady always gets the broccoli and rice. Very good price lots of variety. And the even have orchata.

The lady at the counter was very courteous and assisted me with making a decision on the family side of the menu. She was very helpful due to it being my first time at your restaurant. I think her her name was"Carmen". God bless her, really sweet lady.
