El Primo Tortilleria reviews
13Super nice place to get authentic Mexican cuisine! Quick and tasty! Lots of room. Super clean!
Food handling. You really need to refill the steam trays in place. When you pull them out and hold them over the other food the water from the bottom of the trays literally pours into the other food. I have witnessed this twice and no longer can bring myself to eat here. I have seen the inside of those steam warmers and I do not consider that water consumable.
Best tamales in town an I'm fat I've had them everywhere nothing can beat these except my tia Cucha man God rest her soul hers was the best but since she's gone primos is the place to go
Excellent breakfast burritos & tamales. There is a huge selection of ingredients for burritos. Many other authentic Mexican foods are available as well as choices of salsa.
My new favorite burrito place. Best guiso I've ever had. Other burritos are great too. Loved the menudo too.
The menudo was delicious, and your barbacoa was also very delicious, I understand you have a lot of customers, so maybe you can put another employee at the burrito line
I always have to stop here once when I am in town. Delicious food and always hot. Service is ok, they could be friendlier but still 5 stars.
One of the best places for breakfast burritos and the best tortillas I’ve ever had. You can buy them by the half or full dozen too. The place looks a bit deceiving from the outside but step inside and find a huge modem dining room, large clean bathrooms and giant windows looking right into the tortilla making facility! The line can be long but they are super quick and friendly. I go at least once a week for about a year now and I’ve never had bad food, although sometimes it can be a little too spicy.
Been here about six times so far haven't been disappointed yet with the great service.i was actually surprised on how good, clean & spacious the place is along with reasonable prices you'll get a decent size good tasting burrito and on the weekends they have good hearty caldo, pozole & menudo to get rid of that nasty dehydrated feeling after a good night out I yell you what not a whole lot of things can hit the spot like a stew with a cold bubbly drink on point.
The restaurant was so nice and spacious. It was clean and had plenty of room to sit. The food was so good. We will be going back. Loved it
WoW from walking in the door to choosing your favorite combination for your burrito. Had the menudo and impressed with the flavor. Went on a Sunday morning road trip from Austin to San Angelo. Will visit every time I'm in Angelo.
Best tortillas but you have to get there early to buy by the dozen! Food is great too but because we come from out of town, we usually just stop in for the tortillas. Soft and you are able to freeze them in ziplocks; I can even heat them straight from frozen and they still taste fresh!
Didn't like the line 1 or like 2 system.
We're not from the area & didn't know a burrito IS actually a taco there.
The employees aren't helpful either. They DON'T explain or offer explanations when you're standing there looking confused. The manager/owner? At the register just wasn't helpful at all & the line moves fast!
We were a group of 5 & 3 of us ordered menudo, imagine our surprise to find that it's SPICY, VERY spicy!
I was embarrassed because my food was paid for by someone else & I left it there untouched because it was too spicy for me!
No good!
