Bakery El Quetzal reviews
8Alyssa has always done amazing work but the last cake was true perfection. She met all our ideas and made our cake exceed our desire, and the taste was perfect. 100% recommend
Always love the beautiful cakes Alissa makes for my events! Been getting cakes at this quetzal for birthdays, holidays and baby showers. Not only can you talk to Alissa and tell her your idea of how you want the cake and she’ll work with you to make the cake how you want it design. As well as the flavor of the cakes never disappoint! Love that is not super sweet as other cakes I tried, is just right. Really recommend coming here and getting your cakes for your special events.
This was our favorite place to go on the weekend. Not anymore. They are slacking bad. The service is bad and the food is not good like it was before. I ordered tamales and they gave them to me cold! The waitress didn't even bother to come around to ask if we needed anything. My husband is from Guatemala and he says the food doesn't taste like it does back in his country. When we started going there it did taste like from Guatemala. Very bad not going there anymore.
Love the variety of Guatemalan dishes they have. The costumer service is excellent and there is plenty space to dine in or take out. The one thing I dislike about today's visit was the way the restaurant owner was scolding one of the cashier's. " She kind of yelled at her telling her with a frustrated voice " how long have you been working here, don't you know the procedure " and the scolding went on for a good minute or so. Let's keep in mind that I was there witnessing everything and the restaurant owner didn't seem to care about her costumer. There are places and times to discipline an employee so I think she was out of line for that. Feel so sad for the employees at the Quetzal restaurant. Hope they can read this review and reflect on it.
Foood its really good but prices are to high and portion are to small… la comida esta buena pero los precios estan de maciado caros.sin mencionar los demas productos y el pan
I recently dined at El Quetzal and had a wonderful experience. May I say if you're looking for authentic Guatemalan food give this place a try. The food was super tasty, the staff is very attentive and friendly, and the prices were pretty standard for the portions. I will be a returning customer and will be recommending this restaurant to my friends!
This bakery goes above and beyond when it comes to my requests. They do such a great job and with amazingly fair prices. The cherry on top is that their desserts are DELISH!
This people are charging extra for eating inside which is illegal the gratuity is always voluntary. This needs to be investigated
