The breakfast tacos are equivalent to eating a dry loaf of bread. The salsa was watered down and tasted like nothing.

Really nasty food, my husband didn't even finish his food it looked so gross the rice looked so old like it had been sitting there the caldi all bones one vegetable each I didn't eat it I sent back to the back never again go somewhere else if u want a good meal.

Despite there being many Mexican restaurants to choose from in this area, El Rodeo de Jalisco on Portranco Road is our favorite. The restaurant is ALWAYS clean and the staff is always friendly, greeting us upon entry and at departure.
We always start with Bean & Cheese nachos - even for breakfast - and we have never been disappointed with stale chips or a wonky cheese to bean ratio.
When we dine in, our servers always provide prompt service - taking drink orders and bringing us chips and salsa almost immediately. We have at some point eaten nearly everything on their menu and all of their food is extremely flavorful and authentic and the portions are perfectly sized.
When we order to-go, the orders are always correct and ready in a relatively quick time.
And the beans … the beans are next level delicious. The beans here are better than my grandmas’ - both of them!
We love the food and I highly recommend this restaurant for a filling breakfast, a quick lunch on your own or with colleagues, for dinner with the family or for take-out at any time!

The enchiladas were so good. Small place and friendly staff. Fair prices. Definitely recommend.

We always get excellent food and service from this charming little restaurant. A staple for us for more than a decade.

Bought food from here and it was gross and thought it was just the day so I came back and it was worst. Their kitchen is disgusting honestly I don’t understand how there still operating and they can’t even get you order correct half the time.

As usual coffee was a little strong the meal was really good Sherman says as usual is good waitresses friendly.car

I had to call the server a couple of times cause of his lack of attention. Not saying every server was like that but I expected something better. Food was ok.

Excellent service and great food! From the minute you sit down there are warm tortilla chips and a fresh salad at the table before you have to ask. The menus are easy to read and so far, everything I've tried has been delicious. Cost is worth the amount and taste but also low enough to be affordable regularly. This will be one of my new Top 5 places to eat!

This food was delicious! The salsa is a little spicy l, so I reccomend the queso or guac if you like a milder flavor. Me, my mother, and my grandmother shared a 3 person mixed parillada and oh my goodness! 10/10 reccomend! The meat had so much flavor. VERY well seasoned. Only complaint is our waitress was a little slow, but not a huge factor. I would definitely visit again if I ever find myself in San Antonio again

Seat yourself. The food is good and portions are big enough for leftovers tomorrow. Staff is very nice and friendly!

Good food and very well priced. My chorizo and egg plate was huge and it came with beans and potatoes all for $4.99.

Service is good and large plates and great selection of plates. Agus frescas and tacos are a great breakfast plus lunch specials served daily.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere! The sweet tea was fantastic and so were the homemade tortillas.

This place has great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service during breakfast hours is really good. However, the evening crew not so much. The three times we've gone they have taken a long time to get to us and have messes up our order. Brought out incorrect plates to us and then we are having to wait longer. Again, the place is great and the service during the day is good but the evening crew needs some help.

The food was great but very disappointed in prices. Charged $2.40 for a child small tea. Price was high only because it was "sweet tea" and also charged a service fee because I paid with credit card! Totally wrong! Last time I visit this place.

Food is always hit or miss. Any special instructions don't even bother. They make it how they want.

This place is ok from the food to the service it's not bad but would NEVER SAY omg u have to try this place
