El Socio Auto Repair reviews
5I had some paint and body work done and someone rambled and searched through my car from the front all the way to the back, and I noticed new scratches on the car too. I didn't notice that they had not put my lug nuts back on my wheel and I called and was sent to voicemail numerous of times, I sent pictures in a text message and still no reply. And all I really wanted was my lug nuts back so that I could go home but instead I had to be told to AutoZone and had to replace my own. I wish that I had a read the reviews instead of trusting a friend because I am out of money for tow fees and lug nut replacement
These people are not by any means professional automotive technicians. May be okay for just simple parts changing, but anything serious you’ll be wise seeking real professional help. Hired them to rebuild my motor for my GMC Canyon, went back and forth for a year and a half and after the machine shop in Irving they hired to rebuild it (another trash business) ruined my original motor by not installing the cam phaser properly, another engine to replace mine was also trash. These people have NO idea what they are doing and should be avoided at all costs. Kept grasping at straws so to speak, saying this needs replaced, or this, or that. The motor itself they insisted was good was trash, and after hiring a real professional shop I bought a new crate motor from a dealership my truck is back on the road. Techs at the new shop called and had me come by and showed me my old motor (long block) in a crate to go back for the exchange, all the external parts, exhaust manifold, intake etc etc, had a ton of silicone used as gaskets.what kind of mechanics do this? Trash “mechanics” who have absolutely no business calling themselves mechanics or running a business. Seem nice enough people, but good luck getting you’re money returned. KARMA has a way of coming back and often times in a much worse way.
Very good shop. Up front with pricing and what’s wrong and repairs. Recommended highly to everyone
I like this workshop, the guys are very attentive and very hardworking.
