El Tiz El Tizoncito Lemmon, Dallas TX

I told my friends about this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the food there is flavorable and the stuff is efficient and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we enjoy a splendid time.warmly recommended.

While I mostly have had good experiences here last night not to mention the last few visits have been horrendous the wait staff seems to have a high turnover and doesn’t care about customer service manager would rather hide in his office then have to talk to customers. Sadly after a few bad experiences here there are too many other Taqueria‘s in the area that provide better service than to keep returning to this sad spot. Last night topped it off with a waitress with dyed red hair who basically just ignored us she dropped dishes she got the order which was very simple wrong she did not check up on the table we had to ask for beans all in all it was just too much then to justify ever coming back here again. I suggest if you want really good tacos and good service to go elsewhere Cedar Springs Road has Taqueria LaVentana

El Tiz is the closest thing to tacos from Mexico City, excellent sauces and the tortillas reheat beautifully. The pineapple could be grilled but it does not take away from the al pastor taco experience. I am from Mexico City by the way.and a cook

I love this place. If you don’t like the food or drinks here I promise it’s not El Tizoncito it’s you.

Amazing Mexican food at a great price. Best menudo and horchata in DFW. Super friendly staff and fast service for take-out.

First time but the food tasted very fresh. Staff was friendly. Tostada with shredded tender pork carnitas fresh queso fresco.

This place is the definition of excellent customer service. Not to mention the food omg it’s so amazing every bite was like heaven. Their drinks tho omg the best I’ve had in a long time. It was a clean environment staff was on point I just can’t say enough great things about this place. It will be a favorite restaurant for now on.

This Mexican restaurant mainly serves fast food. The tacos are delicious and the price is good. You can get 4 plain tacos for 7-8$. A look straight into the kitchen, which showed it was clean. The service was very good and our take away bag was packed with plenty of sauce, onion, pineapple and spices. The negative side was the interior. Too many TVs, music too loud and not good and television program was trashy.

My husband and I are Mexicans, with that been said, we had try every taco and salsa, we ordered a appetizer tacos with chorizo and gringas, 30 minutes after we left the restaurant our stomachs started to hurt, 10 hours after they still hurt. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Very good tacos Mexico city style. Clean and good atmosphere. A little bit pricey but is worth it.

Just moved to Dallas and wanted a place to get some authentic Mexican food. Ordered the Parrillada Tizon, it was amazing! These tacos are as good (if not better) than the ones I've had in Mexico. The servers were very friendly too! I can't wait to go back.

Best place ever! Specially when you are Hangover they have the best Micheladas and good menudo! Great staff also!

By far the best taco place. I'll be a regular at this place. Had la gringa on my first visit and the flour tortillas are the best I've ever had. I like that their hours show open until 1am. I forsee getting yummy tacos on the way to the Ivy Tavern just up Lemmon Ave for drinks.

Always one of my favorite, comfort food spots. As a born and raised Mexican, I'm picky about Mexican food in the US but el Tizoncito is authentic through and through. The staff is awesome too!

Very good food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. I didn't see what I wanted so I just asked if they could make it. No problem. They have great sauces, black bean soup, tacos, rice and beans. I liked everything I tried. Fresh, flavorful and not greasy. I would eat here any time I want a nice but fun dinner.

Love this place. Love their torta de milanesa with their homemade pickled jalapeños and veggies. They serve black beans upon arriving, delicious. Their brisket flautas and chicken with potato flautas are bomb. And you can never go wrong with their tacos. We have been coming here for a few years now and our server already knows us. This is definitely Authentic Mexican food.

Authentic Mexican tacos and "gringas" at their best. I lived in Mexico for 10 years and THIS is what it's supposed to taste like! Great service too! This is my favorite taco place in all DFW!
