El Venado Restaurant reviews
15We love this place, the food is great, the prices are low and the serving is outstanding, you better go hungry because they serve you for two
This is a good place for good food with friendly staff. Some prices are higher than other places, but the service makes up for it. The time we went was for an office birthday so we had 15 people. They had our orders on-time and servers were very attentive during noon hour. Their weakness is the drive thru where you will be in line longer than excepted.
El venado restaurante was a bom, I order a breakfast burrito wooo the was so good an delicios.
I recomend to ask for breakfast burrito wit Jam patatas. 100%
I'm from San Antonio and I was in Laredo due to a death in the family and I decided to have some breakfast and since I saw this place on Facebook I decided to give it a try once I arrived in Laredo. The atmosphere is fantastic and the chips were very good but the two tacos (beef fajitas) were very bland. They did not have any type of flavoring. I was expecting a mesquite type of flavor that will linger in your taste buds, but sadly no. The tortillas had the toughness of rubber. You had to pull on the tortilla to cut it with your teeth. If those are handmade, El Venado needs to practice a bit more before calling them "homemade. "
From San Antonio Texas and this place was awesome great salsas give you a variety to choose from and the food was excellent
Ordered the sirloin fajitas. The beans were excellent. Noting bland all the food was seasoned with plenty of onions, and peppers. This food has been prepared well, not thrown together. This is a new restaurant, very clean and very busy. Food was great, super friendly staff. Was ready in minutes.
Really good authentic Mexican restaurant. Everything you get, you won't be disappointed.
What a bad service, it is slow, and very expensive for the bad service that they offer you
DELICIOUS TOO
Upon arrival they welcome you with tortilla chips and some DELICIOUS sauces.
I ordered some green chilaquiles, it's the tastiest I've ever tasted, it came with refried beans, some chips with an exquisite seasoning and very well served.
The attention from the staff is the best, very good prices, excellent variety on the menu, without a doubt one of my restaurants that will be on my list on my next trip.
100% recommended
It was my first time to eat here at El Venado. My co-worker found them on maps so we went there for dinner. I ordered the Tampiquena plate. OMG! It was outstanding! The portions were very generous. In fact, I took half home and ate it for dinner the next night. The wait staff are somewhat English challenged but that's okay. The service was good and the food was awesome! Next time I'm in Laredo, I'm going back to this place. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the corn tortillas are homemade.
Busy, noisy, but the service was good and the food was great. All the salsas are edible (don't burn your tongue).
My family called in an order at 9: 06. I arrived at 9: 36 and it wasn’t ready. I was parked, and waited an additional 20 minutes. I had to wrap around the drive thru again because I wasn’t given chips. The price is ridiculous. 6.99 for each medium side of beans and rice (I bought 2 of each). They were mediocre at best. $30 per pound of fajita, and I had bought 2 lbs. I was shocked when I saw the receipt. No sides at all for each pound either. Meat was also so-so, not great. I’m honestly surprised the stars are so high. Other places like taco Palenque are over priced, but at least it’s good and actually cheaper than El Venado.
The best restaurant to eat with the family. Spacious, clean and with a calm atmosphere. Authentic Mexican food. Local easily accessible and with own parking.
The best burritos I've had in Laredo, they make them as it should be, just beans and meat. None of that whole kitchen a bit of this, a bit of that.
