It is a great affordable preventive care facility. I don't know how they are with my dog inside but they seem very professional. The only reason I gave 4 is the wait time. It is very long. It will not stop me taking my dog here to complete his heartworm treatment and bring back other stuff like dental work and nail. Definitely recommend.

The whole process is always professional and concise. They want you to be informed but also want to help as many pets as possible so they are quick and efficient. I am very grateful for their low cost services and will always donate here. The wait for a large dog to be neutered can take up to 6-8 weeks, if you do the walk in vaccines it can take 2 hours but it's worth it for a healthy dog.

Emancipet is the absolute best! They showed the most care and concern for my fur baby that I have seen from any other low cost clinic or vet in a long time. There was no judgement and lots of before and after information regarding the procedures and how to prevent problems in the future. Always thorough and patient.

These people are incredibly compassionate and very dedicated to their jobs you can tell that definitely love animals and it's joy to go there. The pricing is incomparable, u just cant beat 'em!

Bit of a waot aleays. But they let you leave and text you within 30 min of appt. Works great! Definitely reasonable prices.

My fur baby loves going there to meet other fur babies. The prices are very reasonable. They put a free chip inside my fur baby just in case he was stolen or lost he can be found. I was convinced into allowing them to give him a shot that I told her that he was already given. That upset me.

The staff here is so sweet! They treated my two furr babies really great. You can’t beat the prices. $15 for each shot! They do not have appointments (unless it’s for spay/neuter) so it’s first come, first serve. Suggest going mid morning/mid afternoon. Plenty of parking! Nice clean waiting area.

They are good at handling pets, not always informative about medication/vaccines side effects and what vaccines are offered.

Took my boy posiden in cause he had a bad case of hook worms. Clean facility great employees made my day so much better after visiting this place I recommend if your having any pet problems to come here. I give it a 5 star rating from posiden!

Very friendly staff! Went on a Friday and the place was not packed. Got in and out within an hour for 2 dog checkups. Price is very reasonable

Just went into this location right now on Saturday August 4 about 4: 45pm. I went to pick up pills for my dogs which generally takes 2 minutes for whoever is working the counter to hand them over. Easy. Went in and the lady behind the counter is doing nothing but asks me to sit. I sit and wait. She continuously helps customers after me, looks at me and looks away, sits doing nothing and still never calls me. My husband goes up and she tries to tell him to wait too but she still isn’t engrossed in any tasks so he has to demand she give him the pills as we have already waited a long time. Service should not be like that. Normally very happy with emancipet but today was very disappointing.

That are good at what they do. The bare minimum. I highly recommend that you have a vet of your own if you can afford that. If not, then Emancipet is a great service for shots, heartworm treatments, flea and tick, basically the absolute musts and mandatory shots.

This is really a review for both Emancipet and the Austin Animel Shelter. Recently adopted a blue nose pit from AAS and the poor guy had heart worms. I was absolutely delighted to find out that the AAS pays for the heartworm treatment upon adoption.

I can only talk about Emancipet in regards to their heartworm treatment. I've took him here three times now and it's always been a fairly quick in and out process. They have specific drop off and pick up times outside of business hours that help reduce congestion I'm sure.

Anyways the employees were very nice and kind each time I went here. There was one incident though, when I first went to pick my new homie up the attendant had the wrong file on my dog! I was pretty upset because medical files being mixed up is a VERY bad sign and makes you think your new bro is about to walk out without a leg or something crazy like that.

That only happened the first time though and they seemed competent for each consecutive visit so I'll chalk it up to a one time mistake.

To wrap this up, I would definitely take my dog back here for heartworm treatment again (god forbid I'd ever need to).

The staff went out of their way to be courteous, personable, and patient. You can tell they love their jobs because it felt like talking to a friend, not a vapid business associate, which helped me feel at ease about my pet's surgery. The guy who shows up early to get everyone signed up really cares and is rather hilarious even though I can tell he's probably had to repeat the information thousands of times. Even the guy who handles pick ups was super caring. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly the entire experience was. Please give them more funding so more pets can get the help they need!

Came here at 12: 00 P. M.spent almost 2 hours and a half here just for them to tell me the dog didn’t have to take any vaccines and there wasn’t even a lot of people here. It’s ridiculous how long one person has to wait for a vaccine. Staff were rude and the only helpful person that worked here was the vet in training that attended us. Never coming here again! Complete waste of time

It's a very looking good place they treat you very well everyone the prices for the vets or any type if treatment u take ur dog for their at very good affordable prices they also give treats to your pets or prizes of ur pets behaves well

I love this location! They have a line for medications only which was a huge relief and time saver, not that it was very busy during my visit.
