Emergency - Ascension Seton Highland Lakes reviews
14I was treated quickly and professionally. Very caring nurses and staff. Thanks for a wonderful experience. I Han never been to an emergency room before and I’m 80 years old! Thanks for your kindness.
It makes you kind of wonder about the doctors that are being chosen because while I was there the doctor came in and spoke with me for maybe 2 minutes at the most and as soon as he walked out I could hear the nurses say how fast he was able to get me in and out and that was the fastest he had ever seen a patient. And they were laughing. Did I get told I get to spend $900 for a 2 minute visit with a doctor when he didn't even check anything
Today I took my daughter to the emergency room for her non verbal autistic child. We left the house quickly and she did not bring her phone. She also has a baby that nurses. I drove them and came along to help with both girls. Immediately when called back the nurse says only 1 family member the rooms are small. I have been here many times with my husband and our daughter and the rooms are not too small. My husband is over 250 pounds 6ft. My daughter is only 120 and barely 5 foot. So now my choices are to sit in the waiting room and expose the baby to germs longer and have her fussing for her mom to nurse or go home and get no updates of what is going on or when she needs a ride. Her baby that has never been away from her mom is upset and will not be able to nurse. This hospital is not about helping families.
The staff were all professional, extremely helpful, courteous, respectful, and kind. I appreciate all of your staff very much. Thank you
We are so thankful and amazed by the expert and swift care given to my husband to quickly find the blood clot that came to his lungs, working from when we arrived Seton Medical in Austin about 4pm until midnight and successfully sucked out the clot so he could breathe again. This was all done three days after Christmas and we are so grateful to the Drs, nurses, and the "A Team" for the wonderful work as well as being friendly and informative throughout the ordeal! We definitely got the Five Star treatment! The Alexanders from Lampasas
Very pleased with help overall. Special shout out to doctor on duty and person taking c-scan. Doctor listened, explained, and was laid back in approach. All appreciated as I was a bit anxious. Xray tech was sociable, friendly, and outgoing. Took scan in a snap and paid attention to my comsefort. Checkout nurse also friendly although a little rushed, came with job I'm sure.
I brought my mother into the ER with abdominal pain New Years Eve. The staff were wonderful, very professional and compassionat with her. My Mom was in "excellent " hands!
I was seeing in minutes and they help me with Great respect and very knowledgeable dr and nurse
Very nice folks and were quick to assist with my hand after a chainsaw accident. Was surprised they sewed me up and sent me away with no antibiotics, but aside from that, they were awesome
Went to the ER about noon on Sunday. Just barely got seated and the triage nurse called out my name. We went to the patient room and was asked the reason I was there. Vitals were obtained. Nurses were very professional and friendly. The doctor came in shortly and talked with me and ordered lab and cat scan. Thank God there was nothing found wrong with me. I just over did it. The doctor was very knowledgeable, professional and kind. We would recommend this ER in Burnet, Texas.to everyone
I always get excellent service when I go to this ER. The nurses, staff and Dr's are all very professional and treat me like they care. The food is wonderful if you get admitted.
Everybody from front desk to nurse that brought me back and took my vitals to the doctor were amazing. Thank you for being in the Highland lakes So much better than that other hospital
My son broke two bones in his arm in a mountain biking accident. They treated him so nicely. The nurses and the doctors are so wonderful. My son left smiling.
The front desk/receptionist was very nice. The ER doctor (he was the attending) Dr. M, seemed irritated, cold, and judgmental. I am also a medical professional and while trying to convey my concerns he was very condescending. His assessment skills were subpar and most likely contributed to his misdiagnosis of my injuries.
