Update: After speaking with the Office Manager, Gus, about my experience and having to argue about why I needed antibiotics, which is ridiculous, he finally spoke with the doctor and agreed to give me antibiotics. The Office Manager said that Dr. Nguyen was "compromising" by giving me antibiotics, meaning that she really didn't want to give me antibiotics and expected me to just deal with being in constant, excruciating pain over the next 10 days. The emotional distress that I experienced over simply advocating for myself to receive basic dental care is unacceptable!

Please don't waste your time or money! I came in with a severe tooth infection that I needed antibiotics for desperately. They suggested an extraction. I explained that I wanted to wait until my dental insurance kicked in, which is in 10 days. Yet, they refused to give me any antibiotics to help with my current tooth infection. I basically paid a $95 visit cost for nothing! I am absolutely livid!

The best service I’ve ever gotten from a dentist office. Ruby was amazing and the dental assistant was so thorough with my exam. The Dentist was “chef kiss” he got my tooth right. I am very happy and I would definitely visit again.

They came thru in the clutch! Was quick and everyone was nice. The fact that they were open and could take me in at 7pm was a life saver and I was in and out within an hour. The girls are so sweet and the dentist did great work quickly. Would recommend.

I walked in this morning in pain, was seen quickly and examined. Esmeralda and Ruvy were awesome. Although my insurance want accepted they helped me find an affordable payment program. Dr. Huckaby was friendly and made sure my comfort was first. Last time I went to the dentist, I was horrified throughout the procedure because of the pain. EDC made me feel better about going to the dentist again. Thank you

Came from Galveston all the way to Emergency Dental Care USA off Gulf Freeway because primary dental office and all other offices are closed weekends on the Island for emergency dental procedure. Both Gustavo from front desk and Dental Assistant Diana very helpful, informative, and courteous. Awesome staff. Doctor Guirguis great orthodontist and very precise. We will very much recommend to family and friends back at home.

I liked how quickly I could get an appointment and the knowledge of the staff. They took time to explain what was going on with my tooth, show the X-rays, gave me options and explained details of the procedure and recovery. I appreciated how they empathized with my anxiety over what was going to happen. Over all it was little wait time and I was done and out of there in about an hour and a half or less. Thank you for everything.

Not only were they able to see me within a hour of calling in, they were able to fix my problem. I went from being in excruciating pain to feeling better than I've felt in a week. The staff were extremely friendly and comforting and the dentist was very professional and helpful. I'm definitely recommending this place to everyone I know. Thank you so much.
