If you want to pass the NREMT on your first try with confidence. This is the school that will get you there. Some programs are less expensive but remember you get what you pay for. Do you want to be a good emt or do you want to be a great emt? I highly recommend EMTS.

I just wanted to say that although I didn't end up becoming an EMT. I'm super thankful and happy I went to EMS Carrollton and went through the program. I'm currently in the Air Force and my job is Fire Protection and we have to take a EMR course and having gone through Tom's EMT class it's basically all a review for me. It's helped a lot since the EMR course is express and only 10 days and while some people are struggling I'm able to keep up. Thank you Tom, Parker, Lynne and Russ y'all are awesome!

Thank you Tomas and all of our instructors that help me specially! Never knew i could step in a classroom again and actually enjoy it! Thank you for all the knowledge y’all have given me and all the pep talk and the late night calls with the most random questions about class! Forever great full to be a part of such a great school!

I highly recommend this school, they teach you in an active and engaging manner, and care about your success. I went here and passed my NREMT first try.

I cannot recommend this school enough! I owe my current career in EMS to this school and its wonderful instructors. Tom has connections all over the area, everyone I talk to seems to know Tom and has nothing but good things to say about him. Tom will teach you not just what you need to know to get by, he will teach you how to be a “good emt” and illustrate what it means to go above and beyond for your patients. I will never stop recommending EMTS to those who are considering a career as an EMT.

I am very lucky to have picked this school out of the bunch that I seen online. This training is the foundation in whatever career you choose to select afterwards. This is not a fly by course. You either get it or you don't. Tom is a great instructor! He is my Joe Clark (from the "Lean on me" movie) with awesome teachers at his side. I am very grateful and confident because of EMTS Carrollton. I passed my NREMT the first time. I took my certification into hyperbarics, which I just started today. Listen, If anyone hears you say you're Tom's student, they'll know that you received great training. Choose this school! You'll definitely get your money's worth.

WONDERFUL and very challenging institution! You'll gain an immense wealth of knowledge that you won't get at other schools. This is a difficult course but worth every ounce of effort you put into it. Thank you EMTS!

Let this review serve as the deciding factor while choosing between EMS programs. The amount of education Tom provided us with was far superior to any college education I have ever had. The curriculum is demanding, but any decent EMS program ought to be. Future EMTS students should follow my advice: If you are able to perform slightly above average in your class and are sincere about learning EMS procedures correctly, you will pass. Simply said, follow Tom's instructions. Go to SI, watch EVERY video, READ your outlines, and quickly skim every chapter. A 7-point average was achieved by those that attended SI. As I already mentioned, scan your chapters but don't focus too much on the book. After all, unlike stories, EMTS presents you with actual situations and actual patients. “Treat the individual, not the quantity. ”

I want to personally thank Tom and his team for their time and dedication to this school. The school is hands-on and allows you to work with real equipment and drive the ambulances during practice calls at the school. I have a bachelors degree in biology focused in anatomy and physiology and was pleasantly surprised to learn a bunch of new medical terms.

That being said this class is not easy. You must watch the videos before each class and review the handouts before each lecture. This allows you to listen effectively during lecture and reinforce the material and concepts presented in class. During the first lecture Tom recommended that we form study groups and attend supplemental instruction (SI) to get the most out of EMTS.

If you take the time to learn the material and pass the exams you will have two opportunities to go on EMT calls on an actual ambulance at a Fire Station. In my opinion nothing beats real world experience. After completing this course the national registry exam was straightforward and easy to pass. I can confidently say that I am ready to enter the field of EMS.

Thanks again Tom!

EMTS is a great school at teaching you the knowledge you need to know to pass the nremt. They have great teachers all across the board. When you compare EMTS to other emt schools you will be getting a better hands on approach and will gain the necessary knowledge to be an emt. There are other schools who will pass you and give you certificate of completion but won’t teach you as well as EMTS.

That said, if you’re going to take this course be sure that you don’t work, be sure that you have nothing else in your life going on. Because the parameters to stay in the course and to get your certification of completion are very very steep. Not only do you need to maintain a 78 avg throughout the course, but you will need to score an 80 or better on the final exam to get your certification of completion.

The reason they do this is to protect their high pass rate percentages. It’s very unnecessary in my opinion. 2/3 of my class did not make it to the end bc of these high standards. Another great deal made it to the final but bc they did not score 80 or higher were not able to get certificate of completion (i was one of them). I have a bachelors of science, I also have to work bc I have to survive and have bills to pay. Although I had passing grades the whole course they would not give me a certificate of completion. And again, it’s like I said, they want to protect their high pass rate. A bit dramatic if you ask me, especially when 33% of nremt test takers fail their first time. I have many friends who are EMT’s, who I have scored higher than on college courses &civil service exams, so I know for sure i could pass the nremt. I would hate for someone to waste the time and money like I did, while living their life and trying to make better opportunity for themselves. So if you’re going to take this course be sure that this is all you do for the 4-5 months of the course. Bc just passing isn’t good enough.
