Instructors are so good here! They know all the tricks to help your infants & toddlers & you as parents and grandparents to help kids get over any fears & learn water safety. And they're just darn nice too.

Definitely recommend! The staff is very caring. Makes efforts to know every child’s name, makes you feel at home. They cared about the progress our kids were at. I do wish their policy on make-up classes was better. But we look forward to going back after sports.

My daughter went to school at the Allen location which is owned by this location. My daughter is on the autism spectrum so we thought it would be a good idea to take her to swim school. We had her in group classes with 3 other students for 4 weeks. She did not have the same instructor the whole time and half of the time the instructor was looking at an instruction booklet the entire time he was trying to teach. We voiced out complaints to Austin, the man the runs the location and he suggested that we should to private classes. We decided to do this even the the cost is considerably more expensive. We paid for 2 private classes and went to the first class we got the same man that does not have much experience, who looked at the book while he was trying to teach her. The whole time through all 5 classes, they were not able to get her to do anything that showed any type of progress towards swimming. After the last class, it was obvious that what they were not capable and their teachers did not have the proper education to teach a child with specials needs. We decided to go a different route an not attend the final class. The program was sold as "Satisfaction Guaranteed" and lead us to believe when we signed up that if our daughter did not make any progress towards swimming that we would get our money back. Not just for classes that we did not attend but the entire amount. So after the class was cancelled, I reached out to Austin to request a refund and he denied any refund, even for the class that was not attended. He said the the guarantee was that they would work with us until we were satisfied and that there were not refunds. I told him that this was unacceptable and asked for his superior's phone number to which he refused. II told him that I would find it myself then to which he asked if he could call me back if he spoke with his superior before I did. That call never came. I was able to locate and contact his boss, to which she refused to refund the class that was not attended. We were never told that the classes were not refundable. All that was offered to me was more classes that I did not was with a "Master" instructor as they called it. If they were so concerned about our satisfaction, then maybe they should have tried that when we expressed our first complaint instead of using someone with little to no experience. I am more than disgusted with this company and the lies that were told to us. I was able to take my daughter to a private teacher that had her swimming in 5 days. She made more progress in one day with this other teacher that she did in 6 weeks at Emler.

Austin took his time evaluating my grandson and gave a thorough recommendation, along with options for classes. Nicole worked with me to set up a time for private lessons. Bailey is my grandson's instructor and she did a great job keeping him engaged and focused. I am pleased with my experience and looking forward to seeing the progress my grandson makes.

Came in for a look before I register for my kids. Nice staff. Good deal. But some new teachers look kind of confused and don’t know what they are teaching. This place is Chaos when they are switching classes. No.

We’ve had an amazing summer with Ms Kasey as my twins instructor for aquatots. She’s been so patient and knowledgeable, and my kids have learned so much. We will DEFINITELY be back both for our twins and little one. Thank you Emler!

Teachers are very energetic, work very well with both my 5 and 6 year old. They do a great job evaluating kids and moving them up as the kids master each level. My kids love Ms Abigail, Ms Casey and Mr Winston!

Our 6 year old grandson has taken lessons at Emler for a couple of sessions last year and this year. He went to his first lesson not knowing how to swim and being very apprehensive. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and kind. The atmosphere at Emler is positive and the students get positive feedback, as well as, direction on how to improve. Our grandson is now a confident, strong swimmer who has mastered several levels quickly and loves swimming.

We love it here. My little one gets cold easily but the temperature of the water and around the facility is perfect for my son. Plus, everybody is incredibly friendly! The staff does a great job!

My 3 yr old was terrified to put her face underwater even for one second. We did the two week class where they go everyday and by the end of the two weeks, she was swimming underwater for about 6 seconds at a time! Now she goes once a week and it full out swimming across the pool, and she’s not even 4 yet! They make everything fun and exciting for the children, teach them water safety, and build their confidence in the water.

If something unexpected comes up and you need to reschedule the session, they don't let you reschedule. Even though you give an 24 hours heads up, they ask you to pay $5 to reschedule the session.

We are about halfway through my son’s first class and have loved each one! He has learned so much and become more comfortable in the water with each lesson. Not to mention the instructors are great and bring a fun and friendly environment.

Friendly and expert instructors. Daughter loves it that the pool has warm water. It gets a little crowded during busy times but still not chaotic.

We started at the Allen location after over a year at the Plano location. My 2 kids (4 years and 6 months) both look forward to swim class every week. I only wish the changing station inside the pool area was larger (esp.for the baby). Otherwise we have had a great experience so far. Very friendly staff and a clean environment.

I am very happy with Emler Swimschool (Allen location). Both of my children go here since a couple of years back. My oldest (8 year) is now part of their swim team and swims all four styles very well. She has had great teachers along the way and they always seem to find the right next level to challenge her correctly in order to grow the skills further.

My 5-year old son started in 2016 and has a great swim-teacher (Ryan). He is engaged with his students at all times and is very good at showing/demonstrating the strokes so that the kids learn the swim style the right way. You can see the progress clearly with the kids too. It is great to watch somebody work as hard as Ryan does, some quality work right there.

Overall, my impression of Emler Swimschool of Allen is that this is a workplace where all employees are highly motivated and their highest priority is teaching the kids water safety and swimming, combined with a great sense of care at the same time. It is fun to watch the kids learn and see the engagement from the teachers. You couldn't ask for much more as a parent. If you are in doubt about what choice to make, please pay them a visit or give them a call. Nicole the manager is the sweetest person, you can't go wrong with her.
